I have one on my cheek and neck. I love it though. It makes me unique. I used to go to Shriner's Hospital for Children (which is completely free for patients under 18) sense I was three up until last month. Lasers hasn't really helped me the past couple of years so I quit and I may start back up sometime, it just depends on what I want to do. Mine used to be reeallyyy dark purple now its light red. Its amazing seeing other people with the same thing as me. I don't meet many people with it.

i just got a laser treatment the other day does urs weep or bleed at all while healing? I was just wondering ive had like 8 so far and was just bored surfing for people going threw same thing as i heal.

Hi Dakota,

Thanks a lot for your information. I am 27 year old male having Port Wine Stain in my face. Just two days back I had undergo with the laser treatment for this. After treatment I can see lots of black dots in my face in treated area. I am very afraid with this. Could you please let me know this black spots are temporary are it will be permanent, if it is repertory then how many days will required these clear the spots.

@aimke1 i use make up normally now, but if i don't you can see it on my cheek..its not very dark it just looked like got slapped in the face hah.. i got my first treatment at 11 months old and have continued ever since !

Im 16 and I have a port wine stain on the side of my face and i really want to remove it. How many laser treatments do you have to do? I thought you would only have to do one and then its gone but it seems like you did alot. Im so confused. and how much would it cost approx. to do a laser treatment?

@MrBrownboy8 Honestly you'll have to get with a doctor, i'm sure there are some cases where you only have to get it once or twice, but i'm not quite sure.. the cost depends on your insurance, so i am also not sure about that.. when i go in november i can ask some of these questions for you tho!!

i have a port wine under my eye, about the size of a quarter. I had it lasered back in 1984. I had two treatments, but only a few small areas turned white. I haven't had any treatments since then. With better technology, maybe I would have better results. Most of the time, I don't even think about it. Growing up in the 60s and 70s, most people didn't know about the port wine.

@motokev I would deff check out getting laser again! You never know what will happen. Most people dont know about it now i feel, which is another reason i felt i had to make this video :D

hey i have a port wine stain it covers up half my neck i thought about getting it removed but my friends are so use to it they said that i wouldnt look rite without it i was just wonderin wut u think i should do

@skatertristin It really depends on what you want to do! Its a change thats for sure, and it will take time to fade away, so it wouldnt be drastic..
