We just had a snow day last week and the next day we were two hours late i think weve had 5 or 6 snow days so far and like 3 two hour lates and two out of school early and one because of the windchill

In Michigan we can get anywhere from 8"-12"... But, since I'm homeschooled, there is NO SNOW DAYS for us! Just sledding days, when schools back in for other kids... HEHEHE!!!!

We barely ever have snow here, usually just extremely cold temperatures and perhaps one flake somewhere. And even if we did, (we actually had a big snowstorm a few weeks ago), we NEVER get a snow day. Sigh.

Small drawback to that: we still have cold. not "Canada" cold, but cold nonetheless. And no snow, which kind of makes the cold kind of pointless.

Our view: with snow, you can at least go out, play in the snow, make snow angels, and point and laugh when a-holes in SUV's get stuck and/or crash because in said snow.

When all you've got is cold, all you really have at that point is the opportunity to go out and say, "F*ck! It's Cold!"
