hmmm? I don't get it, what's the story of Sparda ? I mean I've played DMC1 DMC2 DMC 3 DMC4, and still I don't get it ? Why Sparda died? or which purpose that he died for ??? but his sons now carry on his thrown and Vergil wants to be like as much as his father bleeded for the human race, but Vergil doesn't help humans or resuce tham, but Dante does help humans....and more than that he open an ffice for helping them BUT with money, and I thought Sparda help people without money.

well, times have changed. Dante is a mercenary freak dude and it don't care for what's about to happen to the world at all, this is also explained at mid-game. anyway, Vergil just wants to be strong LIKE his father, not to be the goodie guy like him.

thats explained at mid-game. at first he just enjoys fighting his way through the tower for fun, and face his brother again, after a whole year. then he finds out what his brother plans to do and tries to stop him, but he is fooled by Arkham, along with Lady and Vergil so he decides to stop Arkham from getting the power of his father,Sparda.

Thats true.........thanks dude and good report in the story how it's going while Vergil planning to take his brother's precious thing"amulant of his mother.">but Vergil is jealous of Dante cuz he was always the best and most important is his mother"Eve" loves him more than Vergil..........BUT Sparda loves Vergil more than Dante either. at any way your explanation is fantastic I haven't seen some one such as you explain very good...lol.

dude y did u only use beowulf to beat him everyone could do that and also i hate it when he does the move that he disappears and repears up ontop of u and does it over and over again when hes almost dead it gets annoying am i right

hey umm i would like 2 ask.have u noticed some lag problems in certain parts of the game? i mean it just starts 2 lag 4 me in some parts and SERIOUSLY lag,i have specs good enough 2 run any 2day's game in max but this thing just lags 4 no reason. have u had the same prob?

its mainly hard because of the spiral swords and even getting a ss ranking that's the real deal on doing this battle ;)

using the same two attacks yes you are able to beat vergil on hard or very hard quite esaily but in DMD that combo simply does not suffice for the amount of damage it does, and you do need to do a few fancy things with weapon switching combos at some point to boost your style so you can get SS rank if you are aiming for that. And doing a few fancy combos can mean better damage which is good all in all.

that is swordmaster style is i remember correctly. yet u dont seem to be using any move so why dont u use the royal guard to block his attack and kill him faster?

It's a video to show how you don't need anything fancy or do anything hard to beat this boss. That simply mashing the attack button/forward on control-stick/keyboard and an occasional jump could beat him.

you should use a better combo

after the combo make an uppercut and go up the air

then u can make around 5 times the air attack
