9.11 Hunstanton Flood Tide

i was out in the storm the night the pier got washed away,the sea was so high ,it looked like a wall of churning ,sandy,water.The promenade was completely underwater as high as the start of The Green! it was absolutely brilliant.

When i was a toddler i walked on the frozen sea at Hunstanton !

Hunstanton, the only resort on the east coast of England to face west... hence the glorious sunsets, especially in the autumn

...when i was a kid i went for a speedboat ride there - got on a big amphibious tracked vehicle at the promenade - it went across the sand & out to sea about 400 yds - then got into a speedboat - now you can do it with a video game ...
