I've noticed a pattern that started after firered and leafgreen:

1.original red, blue, yellow

2.gold, silver, crystal

3.firered and leafgreen

4.ruby saphire emerald

5.pearl, diamond, platinum

6.heartgold and soulsilver

now the games go:

2 regular games then a remake

2 games then a remake now i'm guessing this wasn't intentional I don't really have a reason to say this I love pokemon it may have fallen since gold and silver but it's still a great series.

Black and White are awesome. I've logged 270 hours already...

Isshu's pokemon are some of the best, ever. Also, there's some really awesome areas...not to mention the biggest twist of any pokemon game....

@PiratedComedy I really think that most (~120 or so) of Isshu's Pokémon are easily the worst ever made. Other than a few exceptions such as Sazando, Shandera, most of the other Dark-types, and Zekrom, I think this gen's Pokémon are just awful and literally embarrassing. The games, however, are awesome. The Isshu region itself is really cool and the graphics are fantastic. I'm still pretty excited for the English release, but I'm already waiting on Gen VI. I hope Gen VI's starters don't suck

and those are just a few of the fully evolved pokemon that kick ass.

@PiratedComedy Out of the ones that you mentioned I like Doryuzzu, Ononokusu, Warubiaru (was kind of mentioned in my original post), & Gigaisu. Wargle's ok but I'm not a huge fan. I also like the ice cream cone for some reason. I think they're funny. Other than that, I've listed just about all the ones that I like (not counting their pre-evolutions). I think Emboar, Rankurusu, & Hihidaruma suck especially hard from the ones you listed too.
