White House need to have concise, clear messages of what they are favor or oppose to when it comes to health care reform. Right now, they are not winning "message war", +40% of people believes death panels, covering illegal immigrate, cutting Medicare benefits etc....

The people needs to understand that public option is only way (except Single Payer) to combat ever increasing premium cost.

what value does the Health Insurance industry provide to the US economy? They don't build anything, they don't contribute to scientific understanding or education, they don't improve transportation or telecommunication.

There is no room for another public program. Deficit neutral, driving down cost....all lies. The only thing that can create competition between companies is THE CONSUMER. Allow cross state insurance buys so people have a choice outside of statewide monopolies. When people really have choice, there is competition. We are taxed so much already. What sense does it make to make up new taxes to pay for spending that we shouldn't even be spending!

Look throughout history at every time you remove government oversight and supposedly empower people with freedom of choice for necessities. Agreed people do love medicare (and have earned it) currently. They do not want benefits cut from it. What BHO has proposed would cut payments to doctors to save money. I prefer to have a tax line on the current form, so I can donate (100% deductible) to those who are not covered by any existing option.

When you try to insure 40 to 60 million who are uninsured, because they cannot afford it or they dont work and get it there. Then the public (taxpayers) who will fund this will have to keep paying more and more to make up for the ones who don't. Like the pres said, the post office is always in trouble not UPS or Fed Ex.
