@MrExkid101 i agree with you. I really don't think the vietnamese defeated American. From what i understand, and i could be wrong, is that after the American dropping too many bombs/orange agents which were considered to be very harmful, other countries expressed their disapproval which made the American leave the South Vietnam and which is why the North Vietnam win and which is why the country is now suffered under communism. BTW i'm vietnamese and i'm sorry but i'm not that proud.

They defeated USA in 1975, and peoples said US embargo that blocked all trade & development..hahaha.... How about from 1954 to 1975, what did they do in north Vietnam,..How they're compaired with South Korea at that time and now..?North Korea now have Nuclear weapon to protect them from the North.....VN should learn from North & South Korea..China can't anything to them now and in the future...hahaha....Smart he..It too late for China to do anything..

Vietnam was a country of war until 1975. Imagine the damage of earthquake in Japan in 2011 and compared it to the casualty of Vietnam war. Vietnam is in peace now and is catching up. it is quite interesting to see how this country will be 30 years from now. vietnamese should be proud of themself because Vietnam defeated all superpower countries USA, France and China in blood to gain full independence.

Goryeo->acutally had great skills on making potteries which was continued to Joseon period.(search about '고려청자goryeo chungja&조선백자Joseon baekja'.Actually,we have learned a lot of cultures from China.I admit the point.But,we adopted the cultures on our own way.Don't evaluate Korean culture on you guys' own way without searching.And the last thing to say is..,we all have our great cultures and ambitions that do not loses to Western countries.Please be proud of each culture,and help each other.
