skincare 101: Cleansing/Makeup Remover/Toner in one step

I use extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil to melt my makeup down then cleanse and exfoliate. Us over 40 gals need all the help we can get with those fine lines, you look great :)

girl stop wasting ur money n ruining ur skin wit all this crap i recently found out the best powder/toner is baby powder!!! yes baby powder it sounds crazy but it has vitamin e n aloe in it meaning its good 4 ur skin wont age u n it rly works pores look smaller removes oil n its just great but off course dont over do it use a tad bit so ur face doesnt look white lol

I am Black (African American). In terms of the cleanser, it's not harsh (same consistency as Pond's Cold Cream) but is packed with essential ingredients to thoroughly cleanse the skin, and prevent free radicals. I would recommend for a teen. Now if the teen is suffering from severe acne, I would explore some other products.

I am 53, I have been using Adrienne prouducts since 1994 when she sold them at Dillard's. The meltdowns are great, Retinol, (Vitamin A) kits and Vitamin C kits are also great. Check out HSN for other beauty products they offer.

Great skin, product seems to work well for you. As an Esthetician I would discourage people from pulling on the very delicate skin around the eye area. This will surly cause superficial lines and wrinkles good genetics or not. Use toner to further remove dirt and impurties after cleansing to restore the PH of the skin. Then exfoliate and moisturizing. Somewhat misleading and misguided advice. Seek out experts on skin care, or become licensed as an Esthetician.

i appreciate your feedback. u r correct, we must be very careful with our eye area. i'm 43 and i must be doing something right thus far, because i don't have any. also, i mentioned that the whole purpose of this cleanser is to eliminate the toner step. toner is not necessary with "this particular product", maybe with others. i have used mary kay, prescriptives and countless others in the past, with no success. lastly, my sister is a lic. esthetician and i continuously seek her advice.

First of all you look great! You mentioned rosewater. How do you use it?

thx...i purchase rosewater from the indian stores for about $1.49 or so (8 oz)... anywhere else like a health food store will charge you an arm and a leg. i just take a small spritzer bottle and fill it up. i use this as a tonic/spritzer just to give my face a bit of freshness/moisture or u can use it to set your makeup. rosewater has a lot of beneficial properties to it for skin and hair.

certainly...ponds contains a lot of oil which will make your skin "greasier". due to the oil, you will have to cleanse your skin afterwards as well as use a toner. since this is a meltdown, the makeup will literally liquify on your skin and eye area, effortlessly without unnecessary pulling and tugging on your delicate skin. i hope this helps. i've been using this for 5 years and believe you me, it has worked wonders on my skin. closes pores on my extreme oily skin as well.
