motion dection lights are worthless for security. if it's security you're concerned about, you're better off with dusk to dawn lighting. otherwise you really won't know when they burn out when it matters.

i had one of those. someone still tried to break in to my home.they dont care if the lights turns on. they will of course assume its automatic and keep trying to break in. in fact, they will use the light to make it easier to break in. at 230 in the morning, no one is up to see the light go on outside ,most neighbors wont even bother calling the police.nobody is up at that time of the night

I work in security, so often you see people install a security camera, then get broken into. They know the camera isnt good enough but your telling them you have something of value.

If you honestly want to protect yourself, seek advice from a professional.

Take it easy bubba. The brother is just trying to help educate people a little more about how to protect their homes. Try working on your spelling, "Reolize" instead of criticizing someone trying to give safety tips. A little more installation information would be beneficial through.
