I find it interesting that a lot of people take martial arts classes but often times these classes aren't directed towards real fight but building character, building discipline and so on... This is something that I have noticed recently when I was sparring with my fiancee, neither of us have fought for real so there's no telling how a real fight will end up. Obviously we'll have to have as safe as can be real sparring matches here and there.
