Wow! This album really takes me bk! All we need now is for someone to post "Ain't no price on happiness. Growing up on the east side of Detroit, (Van Dyke/Harper} area. Specifically Marion/Maxwell street. We had great fun and all the jams were being released, a teen couldn't have asked for more. Note: using my daughter sign on!

@Realmusiclover1957 I agree 100%! This is still one of my favorite albums, my mother played this every weekend and it sure brings back great memories!
I love the spinners! This song is really beautiful, I love how Bobby Smith lead it. And of course the arrangement and the background like no other. Soul Music over anything else y'all :)
i met the spinners at the airport in 1975..i called the cops on them, except for the fat short guy, they looked like gangsters to me...big mistake , I admit it, but my luggage was missing , I had to BLAME somebody
i wish soul music still existed. now they just take a drum machine and talk over it. usually about killin or fuckin or dope. otis redding is spinning in his grave.
You Soul/Jazz listeners are so ignorant people. Everytime I'm reading comments under great songs like this I see at least one post that is like yours. People who listen to music, which is about "dope" or "killing people" can enjoy soul, jazz, rock and roll as much as they enjoy hip hop. Open yourself to different music, then you'll recognize, that what you're saying is just not true.
