  • one of my favorites by the spinners

  • I love the spinners! This song is really beautiful, I love how Bobby Smith lead it. And of course the arrangement and the background like no other. Soul Music over anything else y'all :)

  • i met the spinners at the airport in 1975..i called the cops on them, except for the fat short guy, they looked like gangsters to me...big mistake , I admit it, but my luggage was missing , I had to BLAME somebody

  • please put more tracks on youtube...PLEASE

  • It's music like this that akeeps me going.

  • How amazing this track is truly a treasure

  • Its so beautiful. Love this mixture of soul and european music. Only wish it would be so awesome in 2010 too.

    Love from Copenhagen

  • Elegant, melodic, classy, soulful. I really miss this kind of music. RIP Phillippe, Billy and Pervis.

  • i wish soul music still existed. now they just take a drum machine and talk over it. usually about killin or fuckin or dope. otis redding is spinning in his grave.

  • You Soul/Jazz listeners are so ignorant people. Everytime I'm reading comments under great songs like this I see at least one post that is like yours. People who listen to music, which is about "dope" or "killing people" can enjoy soul, jazz, rock and roll as much as they enjoy hip hop. Open yourself to different music, then you'll recognize, that what you're saying is just not true.

    Peace!

  • @Geigermeistermolly then that would make otis redding a spinner

  • Great album with many great hits!

  • I remember this album in my dad's record collection back in the day. absolute quality

  • My God! I haven't heard this song in a VERY LONG TIME since I was like 9 years old! Don't hear music like this anymore.

  • Muhsinah - Construction/Reconstruction too

  • Great find. Madlib also used this sample for Talib Kweli - Happy Home.

  • @didiermbenga Nicolay aslo used this on a track called "Rise" by Supastition. Both Madlib and Nicolay are great.

  • yeeeaaah, madlib & dudley perkins "coming home" thanks g
