I like how the lyrics are a bit repetitive in the beginning and simple and the song breaks off into the stanza, "And the hell of it is what we are. We finish and wish we could start again." It just adds the depth that the song needs, and binds it together The hope we all have when things feel like their unraveling.

My mom isn't really a Mom to me and life is hard, I've always worked not to much of a kid, but now I try to live. I've had abandonment issues and felt rejected by family especially because of my race I am the only mexican and dark one in the family because my Mom's side is white. Definitely been able to pick some influences from Hurt into it. had good words said about the last song I wrote, even though it sounds nothing like Hurt, it is definitely influenced by them... albeit being about a girl in my life, bit cliché but hey.

I respect your right to practice any religion however the only reason it won't fall apart is because there is nothing to prove or disprove it. I can imagine many unproven worlds which won't fall apart. "Religious people want you to believe god created man in his image but really it was the other way around." I am not trying to slam anybody but religion is what you make it.

I took the song more like we're all people and all of our fate is equal to the one next to us, and since it's not singling out one person it's not painful-which is why I feel like all of their other lyrics are emotional where as Flowers is merely a realization.
