Decent rant going there, Rick. Of course, you're right about how politicians/bureaucraps can easily hide from any and all accountability. My personal favourite is the numerous ways that the public services can duck behind Freedom of Information exemptions.

Thing is, unlike people with real jobs, public servants are only accountable for a few hours every four years when voting polls are open.

Your idea won't work because when you're dealing with government you're dealing with a PATHOLOGY.
