  • Wow, great. I know how hard this stuff is.

  • Yo bro, on the first little run, do you do -8p5-5- (it's a little tab) on the second string, or -8- on the second then -0-0- on the first or -8p5- on the second then -0- on the first?

  • its the best interpretation that ive never seen, really

  • I loved your version. It seems you have no tension while you're playing. Do you usually play with short nails? I'm so interested in your answer. Greetings!

  • i must say this is a difficult peice and to even attempt to play it is something worth mentioning but i however cannot leave this video with athumbs up which it deserves without saying on some parts you were incrediably slugish. the part where you start from a DA powerchord and preceide with the a#A powerchord with the hammer on measure 15 and 16 were no way fast enough as well as some of the other climbs like in measures 20 and 21

  • very well done!! i hate some of these versions when all the hammer-ons and pull-offs sound are so fast they sound like metal guitar.. It is a piece that demands color - but speed is not part of the "color"

he is flawless - and if you have tried to learn this beautiful piece you wouldnt be bashing someone who plays it perfect...

Also, you dont just learn the piece to perfection and then play it with "color"

"color", as you say, is developmental of the musician and takes time.

  • I think he plays wonderful.Because I love capricho arabe :D

  • this song made me change my career fron ingeneer to musician

  • @sodalmen Are you sure it wasn't your spelling ability?

  • Wow... I have watched many versions of this (since I'm trying to learn it myself) and this is one of the best out there. It's beautiful, and thank you for posting it. Pay no attention to the other jealous people making stupid comments. Bravo, sir.

  • bravo !!!!!!

  • Gorgeous guitar.. If I were a guitar, and a female one at that, I would want to marry that guitar.. and be fingered by that man

  • Really enjoyed your performance. Hey, do you mind telling me what shampoo you use? Your hair looks really nice.

Felicitaciones!

  • the left hand is perfect, interesting fingering on chromatic scale

  • I play this piece too. I have listened to Segovia playing this piece as well as Julian Bream, and John williams (and a score of unknown guitarists). I have to admit I rate your performance right up there with the masters. Thank you for playing

  • @farhadekoohkan

hes not bad but comparing him with segovia and john williams is TO much. as brtherjohn says: technically flawless but im feeling no emotion AT ALL. hes good but not perfect for sure

  • qué técnica! bravo!

  • really nice. one of the best on youtube.

  • Your video helps me to learn this beautiful song. Thanks. By the way, what strings are you using ?

  • Bravo Heiko, perfect performance!

  • very nice job on this one i just wanted to say its the best ive seen yet.... Do you have any others up to this level?

  • Did you use make up on your hands? or why do they look so perfect ._.

  • @otharennaur

Yes, sure. I have my own hand make up assistant and it takes about one and a half hours to let them look like this... ;-)

    Thanks for the comment.

  • @joetaniani Wait, are you being serious?

  • espero que le guste la buena musica

  • LO FELICITO

  • I think that esta is one interpretations super itself they notice her suavity of the notes flow I think that with the hue sufficient which requiere her labor task.enhorabuena.

    nguyen

  • cool

  • WOW

  • meee amoreeeeeeee

  • I was impressed by the sheer simplicity and no nonsense approach. It is beatifully elegant and musical. Congratulations!!! From a fellow guitarist.

  • Es maravilloso

  • SENCILLAMENTE MARAVILLOSO

  • minunat

  • fei odeio musica classica

  • coincido contigo. Hermosamente interpretado.

  • BEAUTIFUL...

  • I never thought I would prefer a rendition over Segovia, but this one, I do. No forceful "hear this part"; subtle yet strong as, I think, Terraga intended.

  • what make classical is he playing

    suerte

  • tarrega rocks and so does him ;)

  • Wonderfully played. The best interpretation i've heard so far

  • Exelente interpretacion

  • It´s a sweet melody! Very nice

  • Excelente! Gracias.

  • wow, nicely done!

  • The reverb is crazzyyy!

  • Limpio - Clean...

  • The guitar is clean too...very nice.

  • He's technically flawless, but musically he could be dramatic - and at least observe some of the ritardandos, etc. Shape the music a bit and use more color. The piece begs for these things!

  • He has a slight fluctuation if you listen closely: the tempo moves very wave-like.

  • I like the interpretation :).

    Very good technique.

  • Fantástica interpretação. Sem dúvida, a melhor que já ouvi.

  • simply amazing, you really showed me that I'm playing this piece way to fast :P

  • That was very good. However,I think you should make some better accelerations(like the harmonic scale) and play it more slowly and in a more free way.But that is details.Well done!!!!!!!!!!

  • Flawless victory.

  • lol yeah i agree

  • amazing version. I agree with everyone who says so.

  • ive seen this video more than 20 times.. and its really the only version of capricho arabe thats completely flawless... its amazing.. bravo

  • wow sweet

  • Is that a Fleta?

  • i need some feedback on my piece thank you

  • thank you

  • Gran interpretación! Magnífica!

    You are very, very good!

    Thank you for this gift!

    Have a very good luck!

One of the best listened until now..; thank you !

  • What can I say? That blew me away! Beautiful.

  • if i were francisco and if i were still alive i would find this most excellent.

  • Hermosa pieza, gran interpretación.

  • very nice

  • I love this piece...I played it for my first college recital. Needless to say, you do it better than I do!

  • such a graceful right hand.

  • 3:38, very sentimental... we can really feel it very deep!

  • Breathtaking...

  • Bravo, senza unghie, come il grande Segovia.

    Complimenti.

  • Beautifully played. Many other professional guitarists I feel play with technical ability but without feeling and good tone. You have both

  • umm are you even hitting the strings dude?

  • Execelente, impecable. Gracias Maestro!!!

  • BRAVO!!!

    BRAVO!!!

    Maravilhoso!!!

  • Crystal clear tone... very pleasing to listen to.

  • Sounded pretty much spot on to my ears...I have been working on this piece for sometime now and would consider this a benchmark performance...I would be very pleased to achieve this!

  • It's no shame to look at your hands!!

  • Thanks. Actually, I am of the same opinion.

  • yes because you know everything and i bet you can play this piece to utter perfection.

well done sir you seem to be the master of constructive critisism!

  • hmm this was supposed to sit neatly underneath asmasheduppumpkin5's cleverly thought out comment.

keep on constructively critisicing mate you seem to be top notch!

  • perfect interpretation, awesome tencnique

  • ii CAN LiSTEN 2 diS 100xz Nd WiLL NEVER GET

    TiREd Of hEARiN iT..

sOo clean da way he play=]

  • Amazing Caprice. I can never visit my guitarist friend without begging him to play this piece. Segovia is just about the purest representation of the work. Beautiful.

  • muy rebien maestro

  • Probably most beautiful guitar piece

  • This is one of the components of my "make-out" tape. What a creat cuddlin' and kissin' tune!!

  • great job, im definetly not as good as you but this is my favorite song, ever, and there was a couple parts you were slightly too fast but the other 95% was spot on. once again, great job!

  • Amazing! I love your right-hand technique.

  • this is the only classical piece i like that's in drop d

  • joayo!..

  • Its lagging in heart and feeling but the technique is dead on.

I'm no critic and I'm no Segovia but I love this song, it was one of my firsts and I know you can do better then this.

my own tip: vibrato the hell out of the piece, it fits in with the arab theme of the song.

    good job.

  • asombroso..espectacular...esplendido..bello```grande compadre genial

  • Very nice! one of the best performances of the song I have seen. Cameras need to be white balanced though

  • very nice

  • looks so easy

  • FAKE!!! lol

    this is great

  • LOL :) - that dude was my neighbour since he moved to another town a few years ago

  • What's with the banging noise in the background at 4:31 or so? Someone doing laundry in the next room? That sucks, hate it when people ruin good takes. That was B-E-A-U-tiful. Thank you. What mikes are you using? I've heard so many different things on how to mike acoustic and classical guitars, I don't know what to believe anymore. It looks like one is an SM57, but I couldn't really get an angle on the other.

  • la belleza que hiere

  • He obviously dedicated years of study to attain this level of skill and musical artistry. This is a superb rendition of tarrega.

  • He is very sweet and correct but he lacks something anyway. He has technique, but he should put more heart into it

  • Shut up, that is a perfect performance.

  • thats not fake .. save your stupid comments in your head

  • it doesnt even look like his fingers are touching the strings--amazing

  • they probably aren't, classical guitarists play with their nails

  • not all classical guitarists.

  • dwende

  • wow u play so smoothly i love it

  • this is my fovourite from tarrega

  • idiots just cause your not feeling it, doesn't mean that player isn'. You don't have to look like your forcing out a dump to play with feeling you wouldn't spend a long ass time learning a piece to not have a feeling for it. grow up

  • nicely said...

  • You probably forgot about this comment but here it goes anyway:

you're right, however part of solo presentations isn't about what the artist feels, it's about how he expresses it to his audience. the audience has to get it.

each song has forms and tempermants for successful completion. if you practice and practice a piece without relaxing to really feel these elements then you will never truly master it.

it's alot of introspection on a wooden, stringed box. no need to get frustrated.

  • If that's all the classical guitar is to you. Maybe you shouldn't listen to this amazing instrument. Maybe you shouldn't even comment on videos of people playing it.

  • I'm making a respectful rebuttal to an affirmation and you decide to butt in and wave your cock around. That's what's wrong with the comments section because instead of being mature you feel offended when someone expresses an opinion different from your own and instead of exercising maturity you type shit and hit send. You take away from what the comment section is supposed to be about. no seas huevon. no quieres ser huevon xq los huevones son cojudos y nadie quiere ser cojudo ps.

    respectfully

  • Well first of all. I lived 15 years in Costa Rica, therefore, I know Spanish, in fact in my first language. So I understand, partially, your rude Spanish slang terms towards me.

And second, I am only defending the honor of all those great guitarist who worked very hard to give the Classical Guitar a place in the classical music world.

And least but not last. Your Spanish is completely distorted and disrespectful, so why even bother to type respectfully and the end of your comment?

  • Of course.

  • very nice

  • the place that is recording capricho arabe has got very good acustic. I like natural delay. The gitarist has got good tone , too. Congrutulations !!

  • awesome, great tone, not too rushed, not too much rubato, my favorite version on youtube

  • you play this piece beautifully

  • haha, u 're playing tarrega like u 're playing bach..dont "Agree" with ur "interpretation" of the meaning of the piece. u might want to listen/watch segovia's version to get a taste of what its like..not saying immitate but get an idea..cheers

  • excellent. though you should play it less on rhythm. fell the piece

  • Excellent performance, however I prefer to listen unplugged. Some of classical guitarists prefer electronic signal with excessive reverberation. This ruins classical guitar sonority. I am sure you sound much better without amplification.

  • you play nice... but your version of the capricho arabe dont have feeling... but you play with a cristaline sound and legato... only need intensity and musicality like rallentandos, stacattos, diminuendos and other kinds of expression.

For me the best version of this piece is the Wolfgang Lendle

  • very nice.... one of the best ones

  • You play it excellent. But I think you should play it less .. eh .. perfect. You play very much on the measure (don't know the correct, phrase in english) and it gives a very robotic-like feel. Allow some more room for your own interpretation. But nontheless you play this flawless.

  • omg, marvelous performance, I'm amazed at how many talented classical players there are on Youtube.

    Bravo sir!!

  • excellent!

  • the greatest version ive seen until now

  • is the best Capricho arabe that i hear!

you played this piece more beautiful than julian bream

    sorry julian...

  • absolutely flawless, wonderful!

  • Out of this world!...Thanks.
