  • @NunoMag Uuuuuummm....No..Are you? Just a question bro lol, chill out.

  • i love how its like john 5 marilyn manson, james burton elvis presely, and then under dicky dale it just says KING OF THE SURF GUITAR, aint it the truth!!

  • I use the '65RI Twin Reverb in my rig. Absolutely amazing amp. I love the Blackface era mid 60s Fender amps. Love Tweeds though too, but Blackfaces hold a special place in my heart. I played in an Eagles tribute band for 3 years playing Joe Walsh and everyone loved the sound of the Twin. If it's what Joe used, than it's what I used and it got all of those classic Eagles and Joe solo tones. I LOVE FENDER AMPS! If you can't do it on a Fender, you can't do it at all, period.

  • what amp did hendrx used for the vodoo chile recording ?

  • @isitcosimblack i think it was a twin reverb amp

  • @isitcosimblack Dual Showman.

  • I've just bought the Fender Twin '65- Oh my god!

  • Here that ladys and gentlemen "Hendrix with a Fender Champ "!!! WOW

  • I love Fender big time..but please Fender stop making those real bad tranny amps.

  • I adore Fender Amps and guitars, but: what a crappy music in this video!!! Why?

  • Don't get me wrong, I'm not bad-mouthing Fender amps or anything, I just need this problem fixed fast. Does anybody know whats wrong and how to fix it?

  • Hey guys, I'm a guitarist for a worship band, so instead of running my guitar through an amp, I run it through the sound board.....but about 3 weeks ago my lead singer came up to me and told me that the quoir can't hear when the drums kick in. I went home and got out my Fender BXR60 Bass amp and plugged in, but it stopped playing after about 5 minutes, turns out the fuse blew, replaced the fuse, and now I'm not getting any sound what so ever from the speaker, it puffs up and stuff, but no sound?

  • Dweezil Zappa has a Fuchs behind him...

  • well im sold

  • why they cut eddie krammer saying what amp jimi was using for voodoo child

  • its there

  • eddie krammer: where we used to record voodoo child with...

....what amp is he talking about?

  • probably not the little champ

  • impressionante

  • randall

  • if you're looking for a metal tone at that price range.. you're looking for a line 6 spyder or something digital.. in my opinion if you're looking for a crazy tone for metal.. go with either a marshall jcm 800 (or 900 or 2000) or a mesa dual rectifier. or a soldano. randall orange there are many.. but they'll cost you

  • no one mentions the Super Reverb? You kidding me, thats the best amp fender has ever made.

  • You guys think Eric Johnson tried a Spider, Peavey, or any other modern modeling amp before he picked that one?

  • These all go up to eee-lev-en !!

  • I just can't use my Fenders at low volumes, it begs to be cranked... I try to use them at bedroom levels, and it sounds good too, but unconsciouslly, I start raising the volume and the thing gets better and better. It's kinda dangerous to my ears having this amp.

  • He would like the smell.

  • fair game... i dunno about the amps...but the smell of a brand new stratocaster in the case is fantastic!

  • I LOVE the smell of my guitar case. the interior fabric.. mm.

  • me too! lol. its kina random to admit to. but it smells perfect! everytime i open my case i have to have a sniff before i get rockin

the one thing i hated about my guitar was the strap that came with it. the holes were too small. had to cut them before i could actually use it. peeved me off so much

  • ...Mmmm - me too - I love that smell just as the PCBs start smoking....

  • Whats the half-stack right before 0:09?

    The last amp they show

  • fender (ofcourse) frontman

  • FM 100 Head and FM 412SL Guitar Speaker Enclosure

  • That's Dhani Harrison, George Harrison's son.

  • really? last time i saw him was concert for george he used to look exactly like george!

  • strat and a bassman? who is this guy?

totally diggin his style. thats how i roll. strat + amp + no pedals = constant, quick, no crap guitar playing

    good times=]

  • 3:33-3:37 is like Gollum talking to his "precious". =P no offense to mr. ge smith but that's who he looks like. =P

  • i dunno y u got the thumbs down. i loled. killer guitar player...but u got a point

  • the only thing about them is that the drive isn't that good, but then it's always easy to get a pedal. I have the hot rod deluxe and as a drive i use the tube sceamer ts808.

  • Have a Blues Junior and this is a not so small monster!

  • Love Fender amps... sound sooo good!! :)

There's a difference between a Fender Twin and a Fender Twin Reverb... This video kinda gives the impression that it's one and the same!

  • What would that be, besides the reverb?

    thanks

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Fender Twin is a new amp, based off of the Twin Reverb, but with a few extras such as the option for either 100 watts or 25 watts, and it has a built in distortion/overdrive.

  • i was gonna get a marshall but i keep hearing good things about the 65r...shoot haha. fender ftw :]

  • I am using MARSHALL 4 LIFE. fender makes great amps though. and the make the best guitars

  • FENDER, damn this was a great promotional video, showing guitarists that i actually have respect for :)

  • fender is the best

    go dick dale!

this video was very well put together

  • i saw john 5 on marshall amps about aweek ago they say anything to get a free amp

  • I think John 5 would have a considerable Fender amp collection considering his collection of vintage Fender Teles

  • damn, GE Smith looks like Gollum! =P

  • GE got it! THE SMELL. I remember turning on a Twin Reverb at the guitar shop and smelling the tubes and tolex as it heated up. I remember that smell perfectly to this day!

  • GREAT FENDER I LOVE YOUUUUUUUUUU

  • I'm a serious Fender freak too, but let's be honest w/ ourselves here, some of their newer amps (and guitars) sound horrible stock:( I have a Hot Rod Deluxe, but I only got it b/c it was a used one that someone had already modded w/ a better speaker and better tubes. NOW it sounds great, but it's sad to see so much Fender gear coming straight from the shop and being just mediocre to decent when all their early gear is, indeed, the soul of tone.

    Thoughts?

At any rate, keep rockin', Fender!

  • yea i agree, i cant stand playing anything from post 1995ish. new fender gear is too overproduced and sounds like crap. also 80's strats for some reason dont sound as go too, i dunno.

  • I've heard the Japanese-made guitars are the best Fender stuff from the 80s - comparable to the late-90s American Standards. Don't know about amps, tho - it wouldn't surprise me if those were basically all crap. The red knob Blackfaces and whatnot - any good? Even 70's Silverfaces, hit and miss?

  • yea i heard the same thing, ive seen a couple and the look to have quality. most of the strats ive played are from the early to mid 90s and they are great

  • AWESOME VIDEO!!!

  • The only way you'll take away my Princeton is to pry it out of my cold dead fingers. Thanks Leo for getting it right the first time around.

  • FENDER IS *****STARS
