Today in my History of Motion Pictures class we watched it since it was based on the short movie- "A Trip To The Moon" If you watch it you'll understand that the video isn't weird at all. Georges Méliès was an amazing film maker during his time and is still the inspiration for most fantasy films. It's so amazing of Smashing Pumpkins to show appreciation

90s music was always so great. There was so much freedom and expression. I think thats what I like most about it. That you could pretty much sing whatever you want becuase people wanted to feel good about themselves finally find something to ease the pains of the grunge stars taht were dying and the hip hop/rap battles that claimed more superstars of music.
I know alot of people say the 90s sucked, but there was never a day where you couldnt find atleast ONE song you liked on the radio.
Such a great homage video. I love the pumpkins and this gives me chills thinking back to my own life during 1995-96.
One funny thing I found about the video is the exploding Moon men special effect was done better in Georges Méliès movie 94 years earlier than Dayton&Faris managed to achieve here. :)

90s music was always so great. There was so much freedom and expression. I think thats what I like most about it. That you could pretty much sing whatever you want becuase people wanted to feel good about themselves finally find something to ease the pains of the grunge stars taht were dying and the hip hop/rap battles that claimed more superstars of music.
I know alot of people say the 90s sucked, but there was never a day where you couldnt find atleast ONE song you liked on the radio.

Such a great homage video. I love the pumpkins and this gives me chills thinking back to my own life during 1995-96.
One funny thing I found about the video is the exploding Moon men special effect was done better in Georges Méliès movie 94 years earlier than Dayton&Faris managed to achieve here. :)

Love the SMASHING PUMPKINS It amazes me how much Billy went through how dedicated he is to his music.. especialy after his band broke up he said I WANT MY BAND BACK and he did do it and i find it amazing how many songs he made mostly himself & how u can kindof hear his life story just by listening 2 his albums...I don't even know wat to rite anymor..2 ME the SMASHING PUMPKINS R just 1 of those things that u just cant explain...I LOVE This Band a lot...i Feel sory for 126 That R missing out
