i'm a big hab fan so i got to watch kovalev quite alot.he was an amazing stickhandler.this man can stickhandle in a phone booth.i think only datsyuk rivaled him and even then kovy was probably better and without a doubt one of the best in the history of the game.it's too bad he didn't always give you 100%but he sure was a treat to watch!

@jbunit2 i miss the days when we actually had good managment, when's the last time taht was, 1970? honestly the things they're doing now are rediculous and they've been doing since 93. montreal won the cup and we got rid of half our players next season. montreal got first in the east and they got rid of half teh team again. i loved all those guys and it was a shame to see them leave. but the funny thing is that we wouldn't trade any of them for Lecavalier but we let them all leave anyways.

Mtl was a sick team when they had kovy, streit, koivu, ryder, higgins and all and they were playing like it was nothing. and like 2-3 months before the playoffs,6 (if not more) of Mtl players had over 40 points and kovalev had an 80 points season, Mtl had the best powerplay and best penalty kill also I think. I just miss the good old days...now its just not the same team, theyre good yeah but.... even halak is gone
