This was a different band, Poison was a hair metal band with nonsense songs, richie gave the band soul and the oportunity to be a real band with real musicians showing their talent...the reason the album failed its because poison fans were expecting ore stupid songs...sorry folks but richie wont spend his talent doing shitty stuff

He gave them the opportunity they needed to re invent themselves, and write more Soulful Songs. I can't believe Poison never put this on one of their greatest hits cds.They only put it on ballads and blues.This should have been on the first greatest hits cd over (Flesh N Blood)Sacrifice.That song never got any airplay.

The Telecaster is the worst sounding guitar ever! Kotzen's 15 seconds were up before they even began. Only the people who read Guitar World knew who this clown was....and they only pushed his shit because they could relate to him...all failed musicians who's records would be lucky to go Wood. this is one of the best rock ballads I've ever heard. IMO they should've renamed the band after CC left, they are completely different just by adding richie to the group...that was the mistake(IMO) people expected the same 80s poison and instead they got a mature band with more serious music...not the old poison thats why they failed...but I love both
