Tim I applaud your comments on the show, but I have to say he was not in the truck for all of the shots of the truck running. He may have been in there for some, but the truck couldn't have been allowed to get airborne without him in a 5 point harness in a seat, Hans, Hutchinson, or other neck restraint on. Once again I wish the show well and yes I live in Oklahoma!

people who go out for drives should go out for walks instead. maybe then there would be less obesity and less demand (therefore lower prices) for gas. i have decided through logic. we are in harsh times, especially in respect to fuel. it is stupid to waste it, and there are better ways to entertain yourself than monster trucks.

You are obviously clueless about the way the commodities market works especially in regards to petroleum. It seems that your logic isn't working.

you are right in one respect, but you are looking at things over a short time period. demand is low BECAUSE prices are high. the companies then try to compensate by raising prices. eventually it will even out, but the normal price will be even higher than the last time. yet, because people must have gas, they will tolerate this new norm and demand will be back to normal. i was demand to stay lower for a longer time (by not wasting it), forcing the companies to lower price.

You just don't understand that the petroleum business operates outside the normal rules of parameters of the commodities market. The oil producing nations join together to control supply and set the prices. Their method violates U.S. federal law. But there are continuing to get away with it.

I notice that you have not mentioned what you do for recreation so that you can criticize others but not be criticized yourself. There is an old saying that goes, you can dish it out but you can't take it.
