Don't tell me who should be playing in WAR, Sal IS in WAR, and has been for around 20 years...in fact I think Harold Brown was still in WAR when Sal got hired. And doesn't the L.R.B. also have members that weren't original members of WAR? And don't they play WAR songs? Well sounds like A COVER BAND by your standards. @tgsquier, When you ignore the fact that the REAL OG's of WAR are still here to perform THEIR WAR songs, while giving the WAR credit to guys that didn't even write those WAR songs, that's putting the OG's down in my book. As for the 3 musicians that perform with the LOWRIDER BAND, common sense says they take the place for the late greats Charles Miller and Papa Dee and one OG that sold out for the fame the WAR name brings him, his puppetmaster and hired hands, while the OG's are forgotten. This has happened many times, and it happened to guys who never read the paper work and just trusted "The Man" so they could keep the party going. They got screwed. Sucks. It shouldn't be that way. This is should be Harold Brown sitting here representing WAR, but he wouldn't have to be playing Iron Man as filler.There are 4 OG's of WAR trying to get THEIR propers, money and respect for THEIR songs, they are the LOWRIDER BAND. They are NOT dead like Mr. Golddigger (the OWNER of WAR) would have you believe, so he doesn't have to pay the OG's THEIR money. TRUE WAR fans KNOW that the band here is just a cover band, and for those who don't, that's why I'm "delivering the word" on the TRUTH.
