  • I have seen CP3 travel a lot before, but this was DEFINITELY NOT A TRAVEL YOU DUMB FUCK!

Tell me: How many steps did he take when the ball was in his hand? 2 FOR FUCKS SAKE.

  • two :)

ball was mid air in d beginning, 2 after it reached his hand..and den passed...

  • He took two. The ball was in the air. It starts to matter when the ball is at hand

  • Damn good ref. could not get away with this in a highschool game

  • 2 steps .

  • its the greatest method of trickery and biggest advantage an offensive player can make, you get to take four steps but two are between dribbles, your hand touches the ball then you take your two..

  • wow. descrace to nuggets nation. im a huge nuggs fan and chris paul clearly gathers the ball and then takes 2 steps before he passes. he followed the rules as explained in the beggining of the video

  • he clearly passed the ball before the third step, no travel

  • You do not need to be a basketball guru to understand that this is not a travelling violation. He lifted the ball on time and released it on time.

  • I pretty much hate Chris Paul, but there's no way in hell this is a travel. Look closely -- he does a wraparound dribble but doesn't TOUCH the ball while he's moving, so obviously not a travel. When he finally does touch it, his left foot is on the ground. he takes one step and his right foot makes contact with the ground. his left foot then moves forward but the pass is made CLEARLY before his left foot touches the floor.

  • Nope. Not ata all

  • Very close call, but he did make 3 steps, it's a travel but barely, not a huge mistake by the refs

  • its 5 steps while dribbling buddy

  • dude that was DEFINITELY a travel. He took at least four steps. You don't necessarily need to have the ball in both hands to have possession.

  • @Marine4Life51 definitely was not a travel. you can bounce the ball and take 100 steps, it wont matter

  • @JPMartin5 except he wasn't bouncing the ball at the end. It was in the air. He takes at least three or four steps from the moment the ball last touches the ground to when he passes it. If it's not a travel, then at least it should be a carry.

  • Noo Travel. He Went Behind The Back Cutee Movee - Then Got Control And Two Steps Then Pass.

  • when he had the ball in his hand after the (sexy) behind the back dribble, it was two steps and he passed it before the third one came. im a nuggets fan as well, but thats a fair play by CP3

  • your retarded. that wasn't a travel u just hate cp3

  • 2 steps no travel

  • it is a travel... YOU CANNOT JUST BOUNCE THE BALL HEAD HIGH AND CLAIM IT ISN'T TRAVEL HE CLEARLY STILL HAD CONTROL OF THE BALL... travel

  • @cocopopscrunchy09 sori mate, but you just can

  • Comment removed

  • he didnt travel he took 2 steps

  • Not a travel he took two steps the passed it.

  • not a travel.... the ball wasnt in his hands!

  • Not a travel

  • i count 2. and i'm a nuggets fan so i should be as biased as anyone.

  • that was perfectly legal. from :48 to :51 he didn't have the ball then he took the 2 legal steps

  • no travel idiot

  • good call bro.. thats a travel.. all blinded chris paul fans. by the way hornets are no where to be seen at the finals so shut up.. i am a hornet plus chris paul hater.. he sucks so does the hornets. shut up and live with it

  • @dunkBees wow u must be mentally challenged cause chris paul is the second best point guard in the league and the only reason they aren't anywhere is cause they lost him halfway through the season and he carries that team otherwise they would be in the playoffs

  • @t1y1 wow? second as you mentioned? even you yourself doesnt believe he is number 1 ? who will? ROFL

    get a life

HORNET plus your gay CP3 sucks! =)

  • this video better have been a joke

  • that wasn't traveling..

  • CLEAR 2 steps.

  • you dumb for this video cause he bounced the ball high in the air

  • do u kno basketball for postin this video?

  • sorry bud, this is definitely NOT a travel

  • lol part time ballers thass not a travel thass just sick ballhanding and footwork...

why do u think he bounced the ball so high on the behind the back? so he can take steps without TOUCHING the ball.

if u say traveling counts even when u dont have ur hands on the ball, then how can u explain when people do the shuffle steps. thass like 2-3-4 steps easy. i need to learn this move =) cp3 is sick

  • he took 2 steps, he didnt have full possesion of the ball

  • it was only 2 steps because the ball was not touching his hand when he finally gathered it!!! SORRY...I love the nuggets an all but chris paul DID

  • slow motion shows it clearly, 2 steps

  • lol! thats obviously not a travel

ur making a fool of yourself by making this video ;D

  • that was a travel! c'mon guys, nba referees never call travelling! I

  • 2 STEPS

BALL WAS NOT TOUCHING HIS HAND

u can even take 5 millions step but if the ball is not touching ur hand, its not a travel

  • NOT TRUE, you can't do more than 2 steps between bounces

  • yes you can

  • why you can? what rule explains it?

  • if you bounce a ball and take as many steps as possible in between bounces without carrying it on the catch, its not a travel. you usually only take 2 or 3 steps to maintain possesion

  • He took 2. He didn't have possession of the ball when he first touched it.

  • its 3 steps when he touched the ball in his hands

  • not a travel... even if it was, refs wouldn't catch that. plus if the refs were to call every travel in the rule book, then nba games would last for hours.

  • he didnt have the ball in his hand while gathering his steps. no travel

  • the answer is no because when he took those 3-5 steps he wasnt holding the ball

  • that wasn't travel you idiots

  • thats noooooot a travel...

  • what the fuck? how is this a travel, and why was this shit posted you dumbass, learn to play the game, better yet in your case, watch the fucking game!

  • i dont know if its a travel if you bounce the ball and take the steps i dont think its a travel

  • he took two and a half..hahaha..

  • he took 4 steps! damn!

  • No travel he let the ball bounce and then he took 2 steps and passed.

  • No travelling , after he crabbed the ball , he took only 2 steps and then passed...

  • No travel this time!

  • not a travel you PART TIME BALLERS

  • not a travel, he gathers the ball after the behind the back and takes 1.5 steps before he passes. for those who think its travelling, i'll tell you why its not. you can bounce the ball once and take how ever many steps you want without touching the ball. for example, im sure you have seen players start the ball from the back court, bouncing it once and just walking with the ball. but once you pick the ball up with both hands, ie 'gather' the ball, you are only allowed a maximum of 2 steps.

  • One step...no travel. Wish I could get all of my players to take that many steps while the ball is suspended in midair on the fastbreak.

  • It looks like a travel but the dribble doesn't end until the ball touches his right hand. So 1 step and then a pass. No travel.

  • FUCKIN 5 STEPS HOLY CHRIST!!!!!

  • He didn't pickup his dribble until after he went behind his back and then he took 1 and a halft to 2 steps so no travel.

  • clearly a travel.

  • u guys are idiots, stop talking about him going behind the back, the controversy is about what happened afterwards, after the behind the back, he didn't have full possession of the ball, then he got it, took one step then passed, no travel

  • this is why paul is so good. he is allowed to travel with no reprecussions. he took FIVE steps! how the f*ck is that not a travel?

  • he took 2 steps. when he put it behind his back he touched the ball again after 3 steps and when he got the ball he took 2 steps and passed it.

  • he put the ball behind his back, then 2 steps and pass off, that's not traveling

  • he took 5 steps and passed it still my fav playa though

  • no he didn't kill his dribble so its not travelling

  • after the around the back move he took 5 steps without dribbling=travel

  • 2...he didnt touch the ball until the end and then took 2 steps...whats the point of asking

  • Ummm, I believe he took two, but why do you care if the Nuggets won anyway?

  • who gives a shit if it was a travel or not gay ass vid man for real o and u sound like a gay faggot whoevers talkin on this vid

  • thats not a travel but

havent u guys seen when he has the ball stopped

then takes two steps and then dribbles

i thought that was a travel

  • u people ar efukin idiots. he took 5 steps

  • 2 steps young mullah baby

  • 2 seteps because as a ref you can´t know whenever he absorb the ball

  • only 2 steps... by the way the half step does not make it traveling

  • hmm 2 and a half?

it looks like he took like 10 but he didnt have control the ball yet but he only took 2.5 steps after he gathered the ball

    nevertheless the nuggets win yea!

  • it was only two he didnt have the ball in all those steps

  • it wasnt a travel, the ball technically wasnt in his hand, however i guess he could be called for a carry

  • I think the reason they didn't call it is because the ball during those steps wasn't in his hand. It could have technically been considered a loose ball.

Also, Is there a rule on how many steps you can take in between each dribble? You could concievably take 30 baby steps I suppose as long as you are still dribbling the ball.

  • two steps, like you said, after he gathers the dribble.

  • lol im guessing the players cant run now cuz its a travel??

he clearly takes 2steps!!!!!...he pushes the ball in front of him....waits to see what the defender is gonna commit to...then passes...

  • if only the steps after he gathers the ball count, he took 2.

  • All you guys are stupid. I am a professional basketball player and I also referee. How the hell can u count a step if the ball is not in the players hand. That makes no sense. There for Chris Paul only took 2 steps with the ball in his hand. Which is not a travel. I repeat this is not a travel.

  • the ball wasnt in his hands the whole time he let it go for three steps then got it and passed

  • that wasn't a travel because he could've put the ball back on the court and taken a layup, but he passed so it was basically just playing basketball.. no traveling involved.

  • 5 steps

  • the ball wasnt in his hands the whole time he let it go for three steps then got it and passed

  • 4-5 steps easy

  • YOU ARE A GOOFBALL

  • 2 steps lol sorry

  • just 2

  • dude that was like 4 steps

just cos he isn't holding the ball, doesn't mean you can go for a run. you count the steps after his last dribble.

  • but just 2 lol... you count the steps when you're holding the ball.... but i might be wrong lmao
