I think that the weapon proportions are a bit too ridiculous for me, I'm kind of confused on how the whole hit box and dodging is supposed to work when someone is charging at you with a lance the size of a building

IT was used to brake enemy infantry wall of spears formation upon charging . it was an unprecise weapon it was only used to hit the first target then it usualy were broken and shattered to splinters from the very impact. after that knight drew sword and started spinging. Even a hydraulic robot arm of suchsize would not last long. as for human- a lance like that woudl be simply to heavy to even hold up because slight wind would make it way heavier and imposible to balance

this gameplay reminds me alot of monster hunter a game that i enjoyed... this game is better in many ways in comparison but the pvp system is really much alike.
i heard that their might be more skills in the game than just the ones that they had now but still it seems like lancers can handle themselves in PvE one on one or even two on one but with the group mobs its soo much harder

lances are weapons used by MOUNTED CAVALRY KNIGHTS not footmen! IT was used to brake enemy infantry wall of spears formation upon charging . it was an unprecise weapon it was only used to hit the first target then it usualy were broken and shattered to splinters from the very impact. after that knight drew sword and started spinging. IT IS NOT A MELEE WEAPON!!!! IT LOOKS RIDICULUS GET IT OUT OF THE GAME!!

@SweetTaLe good fiction has strong basis in reality this "lancer" is insultingly ridiculus. while the rest of the character can be explained b y the share immense strength of muscles the lance is so much out of proportion it would require a brake in physics or both lance and muscle fiber made of titanum for a tiny arm like that to even hold up. let me repear one more time. this is fucking beyond ridiculus. anime chars with swords twice theyre size is ridiculus this is twice that...

But if you do, tiny wielding gigantic weapons is the least of worries. Seeing has how there is a race that has furry animals for the males and little girls for the females, how would they mate? The same tiny women wearing next to nothing and can take the same beating as a guy in full armor? Then you got, advanced robots, elementals, and all sorts of other things.

But yeah, my main point is don't over think video games, its a waste of time cause when to finally get down to it, these are magical worlds and science has no place in a magic filled world.

@xynth101088 i didnt say they dont look ridiculus, theyre even more ridiculus than the lancers with muscular body types. In my opinion theres fantasy and theres just plain bullshit... Good fantasy has some reality to it, certain rules for example that 2 muscular arms of a huge brute character could swing a weapon of a certain size, however when you do just plain imposible like a smurf onehanding a lamp post its where i say its stupid and not cool. it entirely kills the mood and immersion.

@pwnage35411 id swear i already replied to you... annyway i would agree with your statement, . however there are certain limitations to the muscle structure. even if its the densest posible strongest posible muscle fiber it wouldnt be able to onehand a lance like that with an arm thin like that. Even a hydraulic robot arm of suchsize would not last long. as for human- a lance like that woudl be simply to heavy to even hold up because slight wind would make it way heavier and imposible to balance
