The 2010 Daytona 500.. the first race I ever went to , my first NASCAR racing experience.. and when I saw this commercial before the race , I got even more anxious to see how it felt to see it live.

I just can't fucking believe U2 let such an important song be used for something so trivial. Of ALL FUCKING SONGS, it had to be this one?? This song that may have saved my life? This song that got me through the darkest parts of my adolescence? This song that literally brought me to tears when I saw them live in Dublin? And they use it for a NASCAR commercial?? FUCKING NASCAR?!!! What, NASCAR didn't want "Get On Your Boots" or "Elevation?" IT HAD TO BE THIS FUCKING SONG?! FUCK THIS SHIT!

actually, Bad was what put U2 on the map at Live Aid. Love playing it on the telecaster.
The only downer about using "Bad" for the promo is that the song is about a Heroine Addict Bono feels sorry for. That's the downer.

It's not too sad. U2 has awesome, inspiring music, and it kinda fits. It's not like i am a huge nascar fan, but i love sports and i like U2. Speaking of sports and U2, they were the greatest half time show of any super bowl ever in 2002.

Bad by U2....look up "rattle and hum bad U2" the one that is the longer version is best....also look up "bad U2 Live Aid"...ignore the mullet....if you can
