I've got a GTX 275 running on a Q9650 with and also get around 61000 particles. This seems to be the maximum anyone gets. The only difference I get when I run it is the 2 piles of boxes stacked up fall over and the 2 top ones in the pile closest to the camera wash over the wall and land in the lower pool.
On my 8800 GTS I never got anything like that. It was much slower.
The NVIDIA Physx Particle Fluid Demo doesent work for me its say DirectX 9.0 installed(569824).Reguires DirectX 9.0c(october 2006) or lateer. but i have directX 9.0 installed
yes, butreason why you dont get to see that is because all the resources re used/needed forhe fluids calc, onoreoures free to rendr nice game grapics ;)
yes, but the reason why you don't see that ingame is because it takes up all the pc's resources to calculate the fluids movement, and therefore you can't render any other things of the game. it will take years until we see this quality in games. current pc's can't handle it.
i think i did a pretty ok job. anyone else thinks he can do it better please be my guest and try.
when you put the black, it looked like Alex Mercer's powers in Protype... BEAUTIFUL...

It might be useful in small amounts, like blood. Not useful for actual watery landscapes.

but this is need full power of them.
if we play game with this kind simulation,
we have to get future card.
mydogbiteme 3 years ago
Translation: If they put something this complex in a game we would need a VERY powerful card to run the game.
