Of all the cover versions I have heard of "Stranger in My House", this is the only that even comes close to the original. He has often said that while growing up, he was heavily influenced by Ronnie Milsap. Trace is one of today's best stars, and Ronnie is one of the greatest legends in country music history. I even saw an episode of "Crook and Chase" where the two performed this song together and it was incredible. Ronnie and Trace... both are two future hall of famers!!!!!

Ronnie and Trace have a BRAND NEW duet together called "My FIrst Ride"  Check it out at Bleve Music and PLEASE, bug the shit out of your local radio station, I say that because its hard for a legend to get airplay with his new music and this song and Ronnie's vocals are INCREDIBLE...if this song is not a hit then something is REALLY wrong with country radio because this new song is 10 times better than anything being played today...Trace fans will LOVE THIS SONG!!!

Coming from a Trace Adkins fan...I don't think this is as good as Milsap's but it would be a huge hit for Trace.

My favorite song from Trace is the National Anthem...it made me proud to be an American and a fan of Trace Adkins!

I can't fault you there. I am a Trace fan myself, although male and I don't look at him as a sex symbol. he same would hold true for a woman, say Shania Twain. I think she is drop dead gorgeous but I am not holding my breath...:)
