  • @hobbitkiller2700 not when they grow like weeds in your garden :)

  • What kind of paper do you use so you watercolor after the drawing?

  • Reality drawing has lost its appeal to me because of photography, especially since you can project an image of the bluebell and trace it without having any knowledge of perspective or artistic talent. Actually, that darn book by David Hockney "Secret Knowledge.." was what really did it.

  • @dkw12002 I know what you mean, but a drawing does something else - you can see the object in 3d and get to understand its construction by drawing it. a photo never does that

  • @runeskypex I suppose I've been drawing about thirty five years! If Things don't work out I just relax and do it again. Don't wait for inspiration, it rarley comes. Just keep working away at it and you suddenly make a leap forward. If you have no ideas, keep improving your current idea and a new idea will come along. Just keep looking and learning and understanding how things are put together and try to draw what you understood. Look at other people's work and see how they do it. If I have a

  • @runeskypex If I have a lack or black, it's usually beacuse I'm tired. Then I have a break and it's all right again. Good luck!

  • You are a great artist! I really wish I could draw like you. You're really helping me learn to draw, and I'm so happy I found your videos! :)

  • @TheHamPerson Thanks for that. I think I've just been doing it for a long time. Every day you get a little better - just keep telling yourself that and then go and see how you've improved from something you did six months or a year ago. Good luck

  • I love this!
