That's why it's so hard for Americans to be the anime they want to be:) the only place I can imagine like that is san in California but I don't live there cause I'm only 11, but I plan to get my own apartment someday in Japan. Izaya's coat style is extremely popular there. I get the feeling that it was before Durarara!! and that the mangaka knows many people like that style.
