i have a senegal bichir and a frontosa in a 29 gallon tank im wondering what other tank mates i should hook them up with because my frontosa is shy and hides. please give me some other fish i can add.
@xxangel316xx You really shouldn't keep anything small with either a bichir or jack dempsey because they will eat anything they can get their mouth around
jack dempsys and bichirs are not the best combonasian they could get along if you got them at the same time i got my bichir 4 months after i got the jack dempsy the jack tried to kill him right when he got out of the bag now nothing if you see my vids look tommorow night he may it minnows
@tigreslokos they can really eat anything they can get their mouths around. I swear those are the best killers you can have in a tank, esp. if you turn out all the lights. Once I had ten feeders in the tank and he demolished them all in one night..you can imagine hoe silly his body looked after that lol. In this vid he was about 3-4 inches or so. Now he's only about an inch longer.
@SheSoTalented216 that's so cool.. mine just ate a small lobster o.O haha =) but he's around 2.5 inches I'd say.. how much would it take him to grow a couple more inches??
@maplerocks2429 Normally they would, and the store employee told us they would fight, but he didn't care. He bought them both at the same time, same size, and they've been together for a year and haven't fought.
@AlbertoMuse The Jack Dempsey or the Bichir? The bichir was very small when we got it so it was like 8 bucks or something. The Jack Dempsey was 10 bucks when we got it,
That fish is so sweet I love how in 1:34 all the fish are in the corner all scared lol.

@adamisabella1 The Bichir came about a month before the dempsey, and they were exactly the same size, so they dont fight much
