I must tell you that "SOME" of them are real! I saw one myself, in full view over an old barn in West Georgia in 1973. My husband and 3 year old son saw it also. @gweflj Time travel is very possible, you can use a worm hole. Which is a hole, in space and time. Also, according to the Theory of Relativity, space and time have bends and dips. Allowing you to manipulate them, and possibly halt or travel forward or backward in time.

@gweflj Atmospheric phenomena is in almost all cases an extremely irrational explanation. Especially when something has been captured on radar. There is plenty of evidence for the existence of these Extra-terrestrials. There are very credible ex-military officials who have come forward and discussed their experiences. There is endless video footage. There are mass sightings, the abduction phenomena. One in twelve adults have seen something that can't be explained.
@bizzyb1999 In a major study 23% of people said they have seen a ghost. Eye witness testimony is a terrible source of evidence. We live in a world of 720P resolution cameras in phones yet the only footage of so called UFO's (that aren't obviously faked) that I have seen is a white light in the sky which could be just about any man made flying craft or lights on a mountain. All these so called ex military (by definition power hungry nutjobs) have produced zero physical evidence for their claims.

If the government didn't want this to come out, wouldn't they confiscate any physical evidence that may be avialable for presentation? @bizzyb1999 I think military personnel are used to being important figures who are looked up to and respected. When they retire they loose a sense of worth and a way to reenter the limelight so to speak is to make up stories. Be they about UFO's or war crimes or various facts. After he retired even McNamara (former Defence Sec) claimed that the US tested a 100 megaton nuclear weapon during the cold war. It was a total sensationalist lie.

These aren't necassarily big name people, they won't get massive media coverage, for the most part, no one will remember their names. All that matters is their testimony. @gweflj Don't question the evidence untill you have fully researched it all. There are plenty of amazing things captured on footage, from multiple angles, witnessed by large amounts of people. @bizzyb1999 I watched the video and saw nothing that couldn't be explained by comets, meteors, display lazers/lights, satellite debris reentry, cloud formations, chinese lanterns, etc. I would have to open my mind to the degree that it may fall out if I was going to convince myself that they are extra terrestrials in interplanetary vehicles visiting this planet for seemingly no purpose.
@gweflj I recall one of the UFO's in that video being completely unexplainable, one that really stuck out. The meteor looking things could very well be debris from a satellite or other things. But the one that flew down, hovered over the city, let out a flash and shot up at who knows what speed, can't be explained by reasonable logic. There could be several reasons for why they visit us, whether it be reproduction experiments, or just the same reason you go to an Aquarium.
@bizzyb1999 Astronomers study the sky vastly more than average people including military personnel yet the amount of astronomers who have seen UFO's is close to non existent. That is because they know what they're looking at. Look at the data for UFO sightings around popular Hollywood movies of flying saucers. They rise dramatically. The same thing happens when experimental aircraft are tested. People see what they want to see. I have equal physical evidence for Batman as you do for UFO's...

@bizzyb1999 Most probably cloud formations. Commercial pilots aren't trained in meteorology. Again, to my mind it is far more rational that UFO's are mostly atmospheric phenomena we haven't seen before or can't explain than space aliens from another planet. It's totally absurd logic.

You do have a point. However, consider also the following. There is material evidence (radar) in some cases, e.g. the Alaska 1986 incident, and the Belgian UFO 1990 wave. Second, in this society, we routinely make important decisions based on witness testimony, such as send people to prison. Even in a scientific article with hard material evidence, we trust the scientist's description (you can call it "testimonial") of how they conducted experiments and how their data came to be.
@pixelator30 Also any scientists claims have to be reproducible for anything to be called proof. It can also then be scrutinized by other scientists, this is what peer review is for.
Also, by its own nature UFOs are transient, one-time events. Science is well-suited for passive nature where we can set up and control the experiment. Suppose ants in some distant part of the forest decide to observe humans. Some ants may have seen a human on rare occasions, but they cannot force any human to appear before them and so they cannot run a proper scientific experiment. Therefore, ants would have to conclude that humans don't exist.

You are very much on the right path...If you are interested greatly in this matter, which it seems like you might be, I would recommend you read the book "Penetration" by Ingo Swann. He is one of the main people involved with the remote viewing experiments the CIA conducted in the 70's, and this book will completely open your eyes to a entirely different view on the ET cover-up. The film was an absolute masterpiece from a beginner's state of mind. The only new evidence I got out of the documentary was the extremely interesting mathematical interpretation of the symbols seen on the side of the craft in the Rendlesham case. I was'nt disappointed.

I saw UFO overhead my house when I was 9 years old (17 years ago) and never figured out it was. As growing I always thought it was my imagination and descredit the idea of UFO as "looney" After watching this... i got goosebumps, everything they describe is exactly how I saw it, first it stood in the air stalled for like 2 mins hoovering about mile above my head then it accelerates then in matter then split second it takes off at the speed light and it didn't make a noise...... creepy...

A collection of retired military men who SAY they saw UFOs is not sufficient evidence, I'm afraid, anymore than a collection of hunters in the Pacific North West SAYING they've seen Bigfoot is evidence. Or a group of fisherman on Loch Ness SAYING they saw a monster. People make mistakes and people LIE. I must tell you that "SOME" of them are real! I saw one myself, in full view over an old barn in West Georgia in 1973. My husband and 3 year old son saw it also. It seemed to detect that we saw it, and it just disappeared into thin air, but now without leaving red and blue sparks as it vanished, similar to a sparkler you might play with on the 4th of July. Now, just because I tell you this, and it is true, do not believe that they ALL are real. The natural ones are demons, for a fact .

If you believe in UFO's you must also believe in time travel and I don't believe it is possible from my understanding of physics. If you don't realise that you need to read some cosmology. However, the point is even if they had visited here they would be many, many, orders of magnitude more advanced and intelligent than us and would view us with the interest that we give to a cow in a field.

There is plenty of evidence for the existence of these Extra-terrestrials. There are very credible ex-military officials who have come forward and discussed their experiences. There is endless video footage. There are mass sightings, the abduction phenomena. One in twelve adults have seen something that can't be explained.

We live in a world of 720P resolution cameras in phones yet the only footage of so called UFO's (that aren't obviously faked) that I have seen is a white light in the sky which could be just about any man made flying craft or lights on a mountain. All these so called ex military (by definition power hungry nutjobs) have produced zero physical evidence for their claims.

When they retire they loose a sense of worth and a way to reenter the limelight so to speak is to make up stories. Be they about UFO's or war crimes or various facts. After he retired even McNamara (former Defence Sec) claimed that the US tested a 100 megaton nuclear weapon during the cold war. It was a total sensationalist lie.

@gweflj I recall one of the UFO's in that video being completely unexplainable, one that really stuck out. The meteor looking things could very well be debris from a satellite or other things. But the one that flew down, hovered over the city, let out a flash and shot up at who knows what speed, can't be explained by reasonable logic. There could be several reasons for why they visit us, whether it be reproduction experiments, or just the same reason you go to an Aquarium.

That is because they know what they're looking at. Look at the data for UFO sightings around popular Hollywood movies of flying saucers. They rise dramatically. The same thing happens when experimental aircraft are tested. People see what they want to see. I have equal physical evidence for Batman as you do for UFO's...

You do have a point. However, consider also the following. There is material evidence (radar) in some cases, e.g. the Alaska 1986 incident, and the Belgian UFO 1990 wave. Second, in this society, we routinely make important decisions based on witness testimony, such as send people to prison. Even in a scientific article with hard material evidence, we trust the scientist's description (you can call it "testimonial") of how they conducted experiments and how their data came to be.

Also, by its own nature UFOs are transient, one-time events. Science is well-suited for passive nature where we can set up and control the experiment. Suppose ants in some distant part of the forest decide to observe humans. Some ants may have seen a human on rare occasions, but they cannot force any human to appear before them and so they cannot run a proper scientific experiment. Therefore, ants would have to conclude that humans don't exist.

Just about every crazy person has seen UFO's, God or Elvis so its difficult to take any testimonial seriously. Testimonials are not evidence and no one has been locked up on testimonial alone, other evidence is always required in court.

You are very much on the right path...If you are interested greatly in this matter, which it seems like you might be, I would recommend you read the book "Penetration" by Ingo Swann. He is one of the main people involved with the remote viewing experiments the CIA conducted in the 70's, and this book will completely open your eyes to a entirely different view on the ET cover-up. It is quite a hard book to find, probably due to suppression, so if you cant find it contact me.

to be fair the level of panic i have seen in peoples faces from just seeing a glass bottle drop and smah on the floor creates quite a panic in people in the uk anyway. Be Advised!!!!!!!! NIAGARA FALLS is experiencing long-term appearances of UFO sightings. I am a 3 time witness. Each time at least 1 hour. And a fourth time, I watched an object travel across the sky at LEAST 10 times faster than a satellite or space shuttle in orbit.

Ok i wrote my comments not long after i watched the programme so i suppose i was a little unfair branding it garbage, i was pretty frustrated as i expected so much and it delivered so little in way of new evidence.
To a Ufo buff like myself who has seen so many movies on the subject i reckon i was expecting too much. As mentioned in other peoples comments the movie is perfect for people just getting into the subject. Respect for spreading the word.

James Fox stated repeatedly that he's not trying to preach to the choir. Sorry you were disappointed, but you should have known.
The film was an absolute masterpiece from a beginner's state of mind. The only new evidence I got out of the documentary was the extremely interesting mathematical interpretation of the symbols seen on the side of the craft in the Rendlesham case. I was'nt disappointed.
If you really cared, you would want to spread the word first and foremost. Not preach to the choir

Whether you like it or not, the average Joe doesn't have the slightest clue about the cases and evidence discussed throughout I Know What I Saw. That alone makes his documentary worthwhile. Fox was not trying to please the UFO faithful, and I applaud him for that.
The goal was a theatrical release, which would've tapped into a near completely ignorant audience. Considering that fact, James Fox's approach was by far the best option.

I saw UFO overhead my house when I was 9 years old (17 years ago) and never figured out it was. As growing I always thought it was my imagination and descredit the idea of UFO as "looney" After watching this... i got goosebumps, everything they describe is exactly how I saw it, first it stood in the air stalled for like 2 mins hoovering about mile above my head then it accelerates then in matter then split second it takes off at the speed light and it didn't make a noise...... creepy...
