I thought Tennessee was supposed to be a smart, debt free state, well that's not the case on the west end of the state. A caller from Memphis on the first half hour of today's DR show (8-19-10) continued to refer to utility bills as "debt" and he owes $20,000 to the IRS and is getting a divorce from his wife and possibly losing his 15 y/o daughter. He also has two cars with car payments of at least 500 a month. SELL THE STUPID CARS, GET A CLUNKER!

i have paid off 7000 in debt and saved my 2000 dollars.before the first 13 weeks were over and I was laid off from work and severly behind on my bills

I paid off over 66k in 27 months, using Dave's plan. "SylvesterMarkus" can call Dave Arrogant if he wants. I haven't used a credit card in over 3years, and recently paid cash for a car for the first time in my life.

I think "SylvesterMarkus" is confusing arrogance with confidence that Dave knows his plan works....
