Everyone thinks there an elitist at music because they say they hate Skrillex and criticize him for his work. I don't care for his music, but there are a few songs by him that are decent. Even artists that I think are amazing make some songs that aren't good at all or I just don't like. Every artist has their variety and demographic, it's just all categorized under one loosely defined genre of music. Country is Country, that can't be further defined. But Electronic is DnB, Dubstep, Trance, etc.

I've been able to replicate sounds of a few artist in the overall electronic genre, and to make songs like Skrillex, that is one thing I can't do. It may sounds like it sometimes, but never as clean or precise. He has talent, don't hate on him for that. Just because you don't like it doesn't give you the room to say he doesn't know how to make it. You try to make a track like him.
