  • ZBRUSH IN REAL LIFE

  • this is totall amazing, is this clay?!

  • Try not to make anything up? ANYTHING? Bullshit. You may be able to sculpt but your an idiot.

  • @TwigsInc, every good artist uses some form of reference. Looks as though he used the details of a ram's horn to create the horns on his sculpture. The Mona Lisa was a real person. The paintings on the sistine chapel ceiling had models, michel angelo's David was a real person. Fantasy characters all come from various points of reference. You have to do this in order to keep perspective

  • @apachesavage

I understand this but to flat out say "Dont make anything up" if just stupid. Creativity and imagination are cornerstones of art. Reference is good but shouldn't be restricting.

  • its chavant nsp medium clay, its a polymer clay you can find it online

    artstudio satyricon

  • great

  • wat is that? just regular clay?

  • No, it's a wax plastic mix... That's why he heats it up... it melts a little.

  • To smooth out the sharpness of the cuts?

  • You could, and you could use Vaseline... But, mainly to soften it, to allow him to cut into it easier.

  • Just found this! Unbelievable! Black2007Charger says its a wax plastic mix; is this available commercially? Is there a specific 'brand name' 'cause I'd love to have a go!!

  • at the beginning I swear I thought the thing was gonna move! haha I like the horns! they look insane!

  • I've done a little bit of sculpting, and I am in awe of how cool this looks, man...

  • sculpting pwns. I like how he said he uses reference material, I hardly ever do...maybe that's what I'm missing. I like the flame idea. pretty hands too, lol

  • awesome video. Skillful.

  • This is a really great video, and i would highly reccomend it to anyone involved in sculpting. I have all of john browns Gnomon dvds he has done, and they are well worth the money.

  • I've never seen anyone using the flame on the clay like that before, or the freeze spray...thanks for sharing! Great work!

  • he is the bob ross of clay sculpting
