Could u give me some tips on sexing , mine is 6 months old.and i have no idea? i was told he was a boy by some expert but i think he just told me that so i would buy him.

@alinapollyful Hi i saw your bird Zuzu, ... and first impression is he is a boy. The shape of his back, his large head and beak are male looking. He's very much like Louis (my bird) when I got him at 9 mos.

@alinapollyful If your bird has a larger sized beak and a large back and head, and he is active but clumsy, then it should be a male .

hey john i hv the same parrot and he is 7 months old i dnt knw if its a male or female , in wat age they start tlkng ? he sometimes make stupid noises wch dosnt make any sense , and i ll be really grateful if u can gve me any tip abt how they can stop biting mine parot is blody biter iv lost my pinky nail becoz ov him , he just bite and poop :(

How long before he got his colors mine is 9weeks old and still a bit gauky .We are doing the trusting & trying to bond now

@darahjerry 9 weeks ? Well you'll have to wait around 1.5 - 2 years before any rings come in. and thats if he's male. If your bird is female then no rings . You should see colours on the wings much sooner tho .... around 3 mos. I can give you some tips if you are not sure of your birds sex.

I can't get my bird to say a word. How do you do it?

@AtlasJamesBond He just started on his own ... he's actually dropped quite a few words and phrases ... he used to say Goodmorning every day but no longer. He knows whats hes saying ... he loves my sister and she visited recently and Louis was saying Hello right away to her . The best time for training is after 7pm before they go to sleep.
