  • This is recorded for the film "In Transit", and was called "Obstinate". Later it became well known as Albert's song ,when he went solo, "In Transit". :)

  • @sdsjd17 it was originally recorded for the film "In Transit," though, not for his solo album. such a good song.

  • 0 dislike :DD

  • whos sing that music?

  • @DaiRodri Albert Hammond Jr., The Strokes guitarist.

  • I've always wanted In Transit on dvd but I can't find it anywhere :/ ! They need to re-release it.

  • Just to reiterate, this really is In Transit from Albert's solo album, Your's To Keep. Yeahh :b

  • the last 45 seconds is just giving you time to cry, thats why its silent

  • this is In Transit by Albert Hammond Jr. guys, get your facts right!

  • when albert started singing i laughed so much.

  • its a albert hammond jr song!

  • wuuu...this great, sound alternative and amazing albert you're the best!

  • this is alberto. lol.

  • yeah, it's not the strokes, it's albert's solo stuff.

  • this song is "in transit" Albert hammond jr.

  • Okay people lets get this straight. Well all love Jules for many reasons (one for me is that we have the same name). But Phrazez for the young is his solo album and has nothing at all to do with this song. This is Albert. All Albert and only Albert so shut up about Jules rejecting this or having anything to do with it.

  • this is alberts solo bands song In Transit

  • We love u albert!!

  • this is awesome but type in albert hammond jr- in transit..its the original final version of this..its fukn epic..:D

  • This is from the Strokes’ 2001 documentary of their European Tour called In Transit. All the music on it is done by Albert alone but was credited as being the group’s and was called Obstinate. However, when Albert went solo, he used the music he wrote and recorded for the movie on his first solo album. This song’s name was changed from Obstinate to In Transit. Basically, when the Strokes were credited = Obstinate. When Albert is credited as a solo artist = In Transit

  • OH MY GOD. DUDE HOW DO I GET THIS MOVIE

  • This is "Obstinate" which was an early version of "In Transit" which was used for the Strokes tour Documentary of 2001. Like other members have said Albert did all the music for it. Most of the music was later used for his first solo album. Hope this helps some of y'all!

  • This is actually from The Stroke "movie" In Transit. It was a documentary of their 2001(?) tour of Europe filmed by the members of the band. Albert wrote and recorded all of the music for the movie.

  • *eargasm* Official song title: In Transit - Albert Hammond Jr.

    Good song ^_^

  • this song is from albert, from his solo album..... and its called In Transit

  • This actually is from Albert Hammond Jr's solo album. The title is wrong.

  • @CoreyGregz The song is from Albert hammond's album

  • This is a dvd? Oh and sweet 0 dislikes!

  • el RIFF es pegajoso:D

  • makes me smile :)

  • reminds me of Kings of Leon...

  • this is better than in transit

  • amazing minus the vocals

  • @tor4 Vocals were made like that on purpose sung “poorly” on purpose. The way its sung is so the can distort the vocals and have it sound better than if the vocals were sung “well” and distorted.

  • @tor4 no way man, alb's vocals sound so good on this. real, strained and unedited like In Transit itself.

  • 6 stars

    4 thumbs up

  • this is a song written by albert with a little help from julian its called "in transit" off of yours to keep.

  • this song is great when you pop in your earphones and be in a public place. wether it be walking in new york city watchng everyone, or being on a shool bus. once you do this youll see how amazing this song is.

  • I love this song though. It's like honestly if you use it as a mental

Soundtrack to any part of your day it will make you feel better. And you can't even explain it, it's just pure joy.

  • Albert is a awful singer

  • @sininho271 Which is really great in today's standards apparently because the music world sucks today.

  • @Wisconsin222 And @sininho271

Both of you are dumb asses.

  • @sininho271 He is singing bad on purpose. If you really think he is a bad singer, look at his other solo work

  • It's a song from his solo's album "Your To Keep", this song's called In Transit like their trip movie. So I think that The Strokes rejected it so Julian recorded it for his own album.

Anyway what a beautiful melody :)

  • @PowDJoke they didn’t really reject it they just credited Albert cause he did all of the song himself

  • albert is jr is a beast, i love the fact that he branched off and kept the same feel in his sound

  • Albert is great. He does not sing like this in all the songs listen to scared by him it's so good. I love him.

  • @CigarettesNsongs Scared is the complete awesome shit!!! Has a special place in my heart.

  • is in transit on dvd?

  • this song is 'in transit' from Albert's side project

  • i love this song..albert does well

  • Brilliant.

  • This killed my ears. and I love the Strokes :/

  • LMAO ROLLING STONE: 6 STARS

  • does this song gets cut off at 2:45 or is that the end?

  • this would be a killer Strokes track, had it been by the strokes. however, it is still a killer Albert song. sounds more like the strokes than Prazes For The Young

  • @nunezanitam Phrazes for the Young was Julian not Albert (I think thats what you meant)

  • Albert Hammond Jnr. does this song. Called 'In Transit'.

  • woow! esta cancion esta bien chingona! Ahuevoo! The Strokes!!! ForeveR!

  • isnt this song in alberts solo album thingy?

  • @msbhobatan Yeah. I mean, he altered it a little bit (or perhaps the quality is just better) and it's called In Transit on his first solo album Yours To Keep. But this came first.

  • where can you buy the dvd... can you buy it?

  • albert is very talented and is good at singing but we all are fucking obsessed with the strokes and especially with Jules

  • lol the vocal effect only sounds good on julian imo

  • Love love the Strokes, Next live!!

  • fucking damn, i crying for this song now

i feel so sad for this song

    yeah

with no reason at fucking all

    beautiful and painful song

  • @pzlinkinpark I know what u mean but it's actually that ur sad. Don't cry man!

  • @adrianamit27 No the song just has a powerful sadness about it thats what songs do bring out emotions

  • @pzlinkinpark Ahh I get you it just makes you think of things ending for some reason love this version though. <3

  • this was originally written by Albert for The Strokes, but Julian gave him the okay to use it on his solo album....

  • that song is from 4th album?

  • @esteesmicomputador That song appears at the end of the docu-something "In Transit"

  • This song just tears me apart. There's something so sad about it.

  • yeah, this is from Albert's solo project. Or more like, it became Albert's solo project. He's got two CDs now. This one is from Yours to Keep.

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit Albert is singing!!!

  • lol

  • @sdsjd17 he has 2 albums of his own...

  • @sdsjd17 This is "In Transit" by Albert, look it up

  • @alexdancegirl that's right man, great cd

  • @sdsjd17 This is from Albert's solo album

  • albert did the score (the music that goes with the movie) for their documentary in transit, he then put a different version of it on his first solo album. It's albert singing, and the songs called in transit by albert hammond jr now.

  • i've literally listened to this song 20 times today!

  • beautiful song

  • I think so, aint the best recording either tbh.

  • who is singing? i know it use to be albert, but this doesn't sound like him. is it julian?

  • ...no it's not Jules.

    it's fucking Albert.
