Is it as slow wired into your router? If it is, bypass the router directly into you modem - still slow then continue on to bitch at your ISP.

If wiring in is faster than wireless, it could be shit loads of things. Router settings, interference (other wireless stuff), distance ect. Head of the house hold throttling you? Someone leaching off your wireless (do some MAC filtering), router firmware, router restart, ect.
