The name of the movie is "Shiri" and the song was specifically written for the movie and this is the official video when you buy the special edition version it is included as a special feature, but it pretty much summaries the theme of the movie. Carol Kidd has an angelic voice and the song is very romantic. Thanks for posting and sharing.

I watched the movie in Tokyo in 1999 or 2000. No one in the theater left the seat until the credit rolling was over to listen this song. That was quite amazing to witness. Great movie. Wow it's been already so many years.

To answer your question...yes it is a music video. I think you need try watching the movie again if you think it ends like that.

@bobbybulletbobson But I watched the movie in a theatre and this whole clip played at the end of the movie, with the same song. I even searched the Korean web and this song is "the song AT THE END OF THE MOVIE with the ocean scenes etc".

I remember it also because that was the first time I ever heard this song.

All I can say is that in the theatre I saw this right before the credit roll. My only guess is maybe you watched an international version that was different from the original.

I have no doubt that the song is at the end of the movie with the ocean scene, it's just that after about 0:40 it fades and then the credits roll. Maybe it might have been different in the Korean version but honestly I don't see why it would be.

Just my two cents. I have the 2002 original theatrical version Columbia TriStar, Culver City, Calif which ends with the ocean scene and rolls into the credits. Great movie, 1999 winner of several Korean awards, well worth watching.

I watched the movie and must say it is ....Damn no words. Excelent is not the word that can discrabe it. Veeeeeeeerryyyyyy beutiful and very strong. The best action scenes also. Here in Europe such movies rarely come in to theatre.

Excelent music even 2 years after I watched it.

Hope there will be more such films here (in EU)
