love it. this is the first video i have seen that resembles the triplets I do on a single pedal, the only difference is I curl my toes a little to stiffen my foot so my toes have no give to them. When i explain it to people i say its like dribbling a basketball an inch off the ground, your tapping the pedal with your toe after the first stroke using the rebound to bring it back
I prefer the spring tension to be low to medium. For me, it makes it easier to achieve a wide range of dynamics. I have it just tight enough that the weight of my foot in a resting position doesn't allow the beater to rest on the head. I would suggest to experiment. You might find that having the spring tighter works better for you.
thanks. it's hard to find these techniques explained properly!

You cannot play triplets at the same dynamic with that technique.
Notice that the first beat is always louder that way.
Are you sure isn't there any other way ?

Great Video!
I think, this is the most completest summary about foot technique.
Helped me a lot.
But how did you learn, to play faster Tempos (about 190 to 200 bpm) ?

The last technique...moeller for feeeet \:D/ I find these videos to be really informative, thanks.
I've got a question though: do you suggest the spring tension to be lowered?
