The sky blue colour looks gross- i dont give a crap if it was "intended to be displayed in sky blue with white seats and red carpet ". This green color is much more elegent.
have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old DOHC Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

@sup3rcars actually bertone built a number of talpa style miura roadsters over the course of the car's 5 year production run. it's a very small number of cars but there are more than one.
@sup3rcars there was only one built by bertone in this year. there were more built for the next five years but it's still an extremely low number of cars i think there are only a handful of the miura talpa roadsters built by bertone left
knutfheifer should have seen the Bertone logo in the movie. Well, you can guess the level of intelligence and knowledge of Americans whose country is now run by foreigners.
you trying to insult my intelligence? the miura was built by chevrolet, same people who built the corvette but gave up on the muira after build quality issues, im right your wrong, rant over, now get over it and get your facts right, idiot
@knutfheifer dude honestly? it was built by lamborghini and the talpa roadster which is what this one is was built by bertone. not chevrolet. chevrolet never owned lamborghini and never will. this car is italian through and through. perhaps you should check your facts before you make claims that an american company built an italian super car from the 60's and 70's
That's got to be one of the ten or so most beautiful cars made since WWII. Simply ravishing! And the color is perfect for it.
I do have to disagree with the owner's claim that the Miura was "the first supercar". Two years before the Miura, Ferrari came out with the 500 Superfast whose V-12 engine was one liter larger, produced 50 more horsepower, and was just as fast as the later Miura. They're both fabulous cars, but it just shows that there were other "supercars" available before the Miura.
had no idea this car existed, I'll have to remake my list of most desirable and beautiful cars ever made. This one is drop dead gorgeous. Where is it now? Is it still driven or in a museum?
@brokeinvestor a whole effing lot. the talpa roadsters by bertone go for almost as much as a ferrari 250 gto these days. so up to about 3 million dollars
its a piece of crap but its rare and that makes it a piece of gold.

Isn't it called the p400 bertone prototipo?

This is simply the worst car ever made.
It is also however, the best car ever made.
All at the same time.
Wonderful, isn't it?

They recast some parts in lead and zinc? How did that seem like a good idea, even back then?
