  • @958933 you wish :)

  • im looking the video whit snow XD

  • Yeah, don't bother crediting the remixer or anything.

  • Comment removed

  • No bassline :(

  • @Hazeminker Circle of the moon whas the first and will be the last castlevania game i will ever play it simply is the best we can only dream but if there is a continque in nathans jurney i woud cry of happyness becus cirlce of the moon whas awsome..

  • @jeghateralt666 same dude, same. I love this game and i would cry too if konami make a second circle of the moon

  • awesome !

  • I just can't take Nathan seriously with his boxart face.

  • ahhhhhh OMG!!!!! I JUST HAD THE BIGGEST EARGASM OF MY ENTIRE LIFE...... THIS SONG IS EPIC MAN

  • time to save the fucking day!

  • rude awakening!

  • Look at those eyes and tell me that Nathan is not a hardcore motherfucker.

    Liar.

  • On to the save point to save the day! :D

  • May this whip not be as effective as VK, but Nathan has his enormous balls to fill that gap.

  • Rude Awakening

  • id rather see a remake of this game than HoD nathan is the shit

  • @ultmgammer What a coincidence. I was thinking of remaking this game.

  • @HamsterPants522 haha what a small world i wanted too also just dont know of a decent program and plus woulld have to have a partner

  • Too bad, Nathan is not a Belmont.

But that whip? Is it the Vampire Killer?

  • @prinnyXdood no it's the Hunter's whip :)

  • @Joueurdelacave It's probably similar to it (e.g. made from alchemy), but without the tainted soul (as revealed in Lament of Innocence), it's not as effective against vampires without being augmented with magic.

  • the castlevania wiki gave some explanations about this wip :). Anyway Rinaldo Gandolfi may have made other whips !!?

  • @Joueurdelacave yes, that's what I was refering to. Similar in origin, but lacking something that the Vampire Killer has.

  • @prinnyXdood No, it's another whisp ;à

  • Great! However, this track really badly needs a strong bass part to be complete

  • I don't like it. The electric guitar ruins it.

Why does everyone feel compelled to add electric guitar to everything? Give me some god damn strings.

  • @zigilist cause electric guitars are the freaking way to do this rigth :D

  • hey where can I get this game?

  • @Hito391 Dont bother getting the GBA version because after awhile the battery inside the cartridge will die out and you'll have to re-do eveyrthing again. Just look for the ROM. Use google to find the ROM.

  • i lost this game a while back, then reobtained, and i am glad i did!!! this game rocks! the ds cards are a pain to obtain though(i have all but the two in the arena) and im about level 50. im still not able to power through it!

  • Well i've seen gameplay from this game and it's not so bad actually.A remake would really make this game and character shine. He's not that bad,it's just because he's not a Belmont that he's not really accepted. =_=

  • THe beginning was sobadass, you have to change the guitar after to something more rock and less like the guitar in the ebginning, other than that its perfect, but if you make the change it will be the best song of the fucking multiverse.

  • You changed notes. Big notes. Like the Picardy Third at the end of the breakdown.

  • This song is called Rude Awakening, and it's on OC Remix.

  • what a sick tune. what a game.

  • I loved this game.

  • It's funny, this is easily my favorite of the GBA Castlevanias.

I think it has to do with the fact that there's far less inane bullcrap than other games in the series.

Combine that with the MANLY SHOULDER CHARGE, and the fact that you can ACTUALLY RUN, it makes for one heck of a good black sheep.

  • don't forget the overload of awesome remixed tracks from the series, as well as great original stuff like this very song. Oh, and the fact that Nathan Graves is, retcon or not, easily, EASILY the coolest non-Belmont in any Castlevania ever, save Alucard--and gives many Belmonts a run for their money.

  • This guitar is great.

  • Apparently this game isn't canon. Too bad.

  • yea Igarashi actually said that this one, castlevania legends and the n64 one had to be removed not because he didn't make the games but because the games but because its stories couldn't tie into the twenty year long story line these games have been through. these are more like spin offs. if anyone has ever played the series in it's entirety, the story line flows pretty well

  • Nathan is my fav CV character. His friend Hugh was an emo bitch.

  • man. Hugh reminded me of an even whinier sasuke.

  • true dat. at least we got to teach that bitch a lesson with some awesome whip action and some THUNDABURRD SUMMONZ. maybe feed him a 9999 bone.

  • Here little doggie *whistle* *throws bone*

    THE DAMAGE! IT'S OVER 9000!!!!!!!

Nathan is one of my more preferred C'Vania character, but i think Leon Belmont takes that Spot...

  • @IAmTheSecretOfMana I'm thinking that the Hunter's Whip is not the Vampire Killer, but a whip made using similar methods, as it operates differently.

  • @NetMoverSitan You make a good point O_o

Although i've played and completed all but the first two C'Vanias (played the first two, just can't complete the buggers) it's still hard to keep track of it all. I know the history of the Belmont's pretty well but the passing of the Vampire Killer and Similar Whips, like the Hunters Whip is skewed ^_^

    Cheers for the correction though.

  • Do you have a link for this??

  • my first game ever, and also still one of my favourites, great memoires :D

  • This was my first Castlevania game.

    Ahhh.

  • mine too. freshmen year 2005. epic game period.

  • so was mine its sad that i only started playing when this came out, actually my first was castlevania adventure but it was my cousin´s

now i have ALL castlevanias some on roms as the nes ones :)

  • why not make a second circle of the moon ? every castlevania main character had two games except for johnattan and Shanoa

a second game witjh Nathan would rock =O

  • i dont know why is this character so "rejected" he wansnt even chosen for Castlevania Judgement =S

  • I know cotm is one of the most critically acclaimed castlevania games too.

  • A game with Nathan and Julius ( time traveler or something)

  • @Hazelminker Johathan sucks compared to his father John (who also appeared in 1 game only with Eric who was in 2)

  • @blzdout and in the 2nd, Eric was...no, must not say it, it is a spoiler.

  • @Hazelminker well unless if u dont count belmonts cause juste belmont dident have a second game and i bet that johnattan and shanoa will be in another game not counting castlevania harmony of disspare

  • @Hazelminker And Juste. And Leon. And John Morris. And technically Eric too, :|

  • AwesomeRemix this was my first GBA Game (sadly it doens´t Save anymore T_T) and i love this game, This one and Aria of sorrow are my favorites Castlevanias for the GBA

  • ReMix name: Rude Awakening

  • Artists name is Rize, this is from OC Remix.

  • Hey guys, I've never played this game and I have a question. Is OoE harder or this?

  • i do not know i play this game and is a little bit hard for me but if u want to play this game let me know to send it to you

  • both are about on par with one another.

but i think if your a vet of the older castlevania games, OoE might prove harder because it is not what most veterans are accustomed too.

However, if your a SOTN (Symphony of the Night player), then Circle of the Moon is gonna be hell for you since its you mainly have the whip as your weapon and nothing else but the classic subweapons and magic cards if your lucky enough to find them.

  • What magic cards?

  • its the DSS cards.

they are dropped from monsters in Circle of the Moon but rarely are they dropped.

if you find one, it will help greatly because it would open for more options of attacking or defending by using Magic.

Without the cards, Nathan cannot use magic. But if you find one particular card, you keep it. You never have to fight monsters for it again.

But they are sort of random so you can either hope you get one or your gonna have to keep killing monsters for it.

  • It depends. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon tends to be easier if you get lucky with DSS card and equipment drops, get the cross as soon as possible in the Triumph Hallway, and master aiming the inverse of its trajectory (which can strike four or five times, each as strong as an unpowered whip strike). Thief Mode (unlockable) is extremely difficult.

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is probably more difficult but it's alleviated if you're wise with monsters' resistances and weaknesses.

  • lol I'm good at OoE, I can go through Somnus Reef without any anti- venoms. So it will be easy if I try CoTM out

  • great if you need help in OoE i be happy to help you if you need anything i have this game in 100% with albus and shanoa ;)

  • OoE ain't THAT hard, neither is Somnus Reef.

Once you get death ring, you can do gyph unions with the dominus that sucks your health and kill every boss in 4-5 hits (Drac in around 7)

But the sand shark is just brutel, no questions boot that.

  • there is no way that Ecclesia is harder than circle of the moon, really, gameplay got alot easier

  • I found Ecclesia harder.

If you play a fresh copy on hard mode that is.

  • well, yes actually the hard mode is harder than Cotm, but when i said cotm was harder i was mentioning about the normal mode ( the first time you play the game) com is defenetly harder in the normal mode, but who cares, its castlevania

  • Ecclesia is harder if you try to get no-hit on bosses. You have to time right, and try many times.

  • @Michelle2815CV OoE is fairly easier in some aspects (Glyph collecting, for example), but is hard in some others (you don't really have something to motivate you to farm for items, some enemies are resistant to the most effective combos, the Dominus glyphs saps your health). But OoE is truly worth playing

  • @Michelle2815CV OoE is hard as shit, in my opinion, but Circle of the moon is just a little hard. ;D

  • @Soryouken i never had a hard time on OoE, but a lot on CotM. O_O interesting.

  • @Michelle2815CV IMO CotM is alot more harder than OoE.

  • @Michelle2815CV This game is so hard... more more than OoE

  • @Michelle2815CV Circle of the moon maintains its difficulty even if you overlevel yourself. There's no easy way around bosses so it's pretty challenging. One of my favorite castlevanias to boot!

  • @Michelle2815CV

i've finished OoE with albus and shanoa and youknow

    ITS HARD

but i've also played circle of the moon and its hard too but i think Oo E its harder =)

  • @trasmus5 Order of Ecclesia has Shanoa who has a primary attack method dependant on magic (e.g. glyphs)

Circle of the Moon has Nathan Graves, who has a whip that's similar to the Vampire Killer, but doesn't have the tainted soul to make it more effective against vampires, instead it's augmented with magic (which is optional, but enhances the whip's capabilities and affects the weilder as well).

  • Order of Ecclesia wasn't that difficult for me. I bought this game on ebay last night followed by harmony of dissonance and i have a feeling i may struggle with this so anyways it probobly in my opinon is one of the hardest video games

  • @professionalpoliwag I beat the game for three times. Hard level was bitchy though.

  • @Michelle2815CV Circle of the moon is definitely harder than Order of Ecclesia, but not necessarily better. I'd say OoE is better IMO, CotM didnt really have many interesting things to it. The DSS system was somewhat interesting but not everything about it was useful, and extra game modes aren't all that interesting either. All in all I'd say OoE is better all around, but not as difficult

  • @AbsoluteZer092 But the problem is when you get advanced you have no chance to die. At least you won't die when you morph into something. OoE is not bad, but it is impossible to lose your life at the final boss unless you intend to die or you are too dumb or you just used the dominus agony and then a little HP left and get hit.... damn.

  • @Michelle2815CV fair enough, OoE did get easy toward the end. But i think the thick of the game was composed of a good balance of diffculty. Circle of the Moon was just a huge endurance run imo. Not that i don't love Circle of the Moon. But OoE was pretty damn good. and the Glyph system was interesting to have around. it gave you a lot of creativity fighting bosses

  • @AbsoluteZer092 Yeah, it takes time to figure out how to shit the boss. OoE is pretty fun but I think PoR is even harder than OoE.... O___o

  • @Michelle2815CV Yea PoR was great, no lie. my personal favorite was teh Whip's Memory boss fight. they just suffered from some lazy level designs. Half of the portrait stages were just Dark versions of the originals

  • @Michelle2815CV Really? I felt like OoE was easily the hardest Castlevania RPG they've ever made. CoM, HoD, AoS, PoR, and SotN were no where near as hard as OoE was to me. OoE is a lot of trial and error. The others were just go in with proper leveling and gear and beat 'em down.

  • @genesisSOC Lol I died less in OoE then PoR XD

  • @Michelle2815CV This is definately harder.

  • @Michelle2815CV well....its different :), but I have to say that I had more problem with OoE

  • @Spearel I actually find OoE even easier than PoR, WTF.

  • @Michelle2815CV

    Honestly? I found OoE harder.

Then again, I've finished OoE, and I haven't finished CotM yet, so yeah...

  • @Michelle2815CV This is definitely a late reply, but this game, in my opinion, is close to the first Castlevania in terms of level of difficulty.

  • @Michelle2815CV well this all depends on skill.

BTW nice order of ecclesia tribute but

IMO it is harder. I don't die because i have like 1,00000000000000 % skill at CV but I am playing through the game now. It is harder than order of ecclesia because you take like infinante damage sometimes and you have a limited weapon system not like order of ecclesia with the glyphs. But it is worth a go if you like a good challange

  • @Michelle2815CV I think OoE is the worst of them all, since you're not playing as an original character such as Soma, a belmont or atleast Alucard, you play as a witch, which ruins the game :S

  • @Moonlover70 I am not too interested in the plot myself, but I like the system. The glyph system is fun. I

  • @Michelle2815CV in my opinion this one why because there are no shops and every potion u get gives u only 20 health back and in order of ecclisia well u got shops and potions give u much more but this game is for poeple that say fuck potions fuck shops all i need is my damn whip so watch out dracula im coming for u

  • @alansixx

But you can heal yourself with card combinations. One lets you heal up to full health in about a minute by standing in one spot.

  • @CoolxBreese oh which combination i probably dont have it

  • @alansixx

Jupiter + Mandragoras. I would never have finished the game without that combo.

  • Nathan have quite good options with all his DSS cards. Plus, if Nathan could be a "boss" on SoTN, or any game mixs, he will be perhaps the hardest boss in all castlevania. (Familiars + Elemental Circle defenses, he use the Vampire Killer whip combined with an element or use another weapon, he can summon the DSS card and attack or simple become a skeleton and throw bones until he threw a BIG BONE making 9999 damage) He is the most customable vampire hunter ever.

  • That's exactly why Circle of the Moon is my favorite Castlevania. Not that I have anything against the Sorrow series, but you pretty much knew what every spell was going to do. When you picked up a card in Circle of the Moon, you had NO idea what spell(s (1-10, depending upon how many element/action cards you have)) were just added to your arsenal. All of them were fun and unique.

This is a GREAT remix by the way! Its title on OverClocked ReMix is Rude Awakening.

  • you think nathan could take on alucard?

  • No, he couldn't. Aside from that non-canon thing, Alucard is by far the strongest Castlevania hero, the only ones close to him are Soma (who may be his equal or even superior to him, since he has Draculas powers), Julius and Richter.

  • Cool arrangement

  • Nathan woke up to save the fucking day

  • Comment removed

  • Fucking awesome

  • My name is Nathan, and at gamestop this guy was talking about how Nathan graves was his favorate CV character, I told him and he was like.

YOU'RE NAME IS NATHAN GRAVES?!? XD

Yeah, he was a pretty awesome character.

  • Time to save the fucking day!

  • You'll have to get through me first you Quasi-Belmont, DSS Card wielding, Nero doppelganger!

    Enough talk... HAVE AT YOU!!!

  • more like nero looks like him lol

  • Badass! :o

  • can you send a link for this one, and also for the Trevor Theme remix ? It would be great !
