Vineland has a vast population of red neck guys who listen to Led Zeppelin and beat up their wives and kids. Underneath that hides the 3rd generation Watchtower Society, Satan Worshippers Sects, and mentally ill J.W.'S more at 11:00
After living in Vineland for 14 years, we just went to the Palace today for there Halloween event. It was so cool! They have done a spectacular job in reconstruction! The actors were great fun! Good job guys!
When i was 5 years old in 1985 my grandmas house was a few houses away from that place. we used to use the ticket booth as our playhouse. we thought it was some indian hutt not until recently i found out it was a historical site. Its weird to think that the place were we used to play was such a cool looking place. back then it was buried behind trees now you can see the ticket booth from the street. I had great memories of that place
@12audi31 But did you visit Vineland? Home of the Devil worshippers? Find it farce? Do some research and find out for yourself. On the surface, you have a vast population of red necks guys who listen to Led Zeppelin and beat up their wives and kids, while underneath that you have the 3rd generation Watchtower society, Satan worshippers sects, and warped J,W,'S. MORE AT 11:00
As with George Dayner and Vincent Van Gogh, people were scared of that nut William Blake too. The townsfolk where he lived in England did not like him because he was a bit of a nudist and was eccentric and he was judged to be mentally ill. What is normal? He was not 'normal'. He also wrote fabulous poetry and i leave u with a quote abt the difference between artistry and apathy - 'Some are born to sweet delight; Some are born to endless night' How abt the guy that built the 'Coral Castle'?
slessorpr, thanks for the insight, but I gotta ask you: What is normal? In your opinion though, not a wiki deffinition. Maybe this dude thought it was normal, well, to him at least. And Vineland is too close to me for comfort.
This is awsome. I heard of this before a few years agom, but never though to actually see where this palce is. I found the address and am def gonna drive by. A great piece of history worth learning about.
The video is great for its time. It show how to deal with depression during a time when our country U.S.A. was suffering depression. It is good to know how to deal with things in such matter and time if this would to be a reality today. But I like to introduce a change for today's depression for the many American people the voice of America will help make a change in many of our lives. Caring helps depression not Criticizing.
At the end of the segment Mark and Mark offer to give a 'hand' to help out but I think some extra shirts are what's really needed! I don't care how hot it was that day, we don't need to see a tubby guy (or even the skinny one) in his partial birthday suit. It may be Jersey, and it may be Weird, but please, have a little class!
The man is working out in the hot sun for probably an eight to twelve hour shift. If he can work more efficiently with his shirt off, then you should respect that.
I read about this place in the mag. How the heck are they going to rebuild if the place was torn down to the bare ground? I would guess many items used are no longer to be found anywhere anymore. Would be cool to give a hand there but, it dosen't look handicaped accesable. Or is it? Hummmmm.
Where can I go to get an Application to become a member of Weird Nj ? Cause i really want to join

Oh, his place looks like a hobbit dwelling.
