  • Sierra is and always will be the best Christine Daae EVA!

  • I love Sierra so much. She is the best Christine.

  • @Rozo64 in this one she is actually supposed to be 28 since it's 10 years later. I think she actually does look younger in phantom 25 because of the way she acts and does her hair and everything. I am just in love with her and wish I could be just like her. she makes me long to be a soprano!

  • OMG WOW!!!!

  • wonderful voice, amazing acting! sierra boggess you are incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please listen to my videos of me singing classical and opera!

  • I know Sarah is the original but Sierra will always be "Christine" in my eyes. #amazing

  • @MEmEmeMEmemeYep Technically, Sierra is the original Christine in Love Never Dies so she is the original in my eyes:) <3

  • This is the most beautifal love song! So bad I can't sing it....

  • @musicalsterinspe LOL! I know what you mean. There is no way in a million years I could sing like this. I only sing to my cat.

  • @lisaannejane2 hahahaha

  • @SierraBoggessPhan Some of us were meant to be in the audience watching and I know I am one of them.

  • @lisaannejane2 Yes I wish I could sing that high....

  • At 2:24 I was like Omg! Chandeleire! What if it fell and crushed her? That would be awful.....

  • @TheNextGreatElphaba Would've been a suiting death for the best christine ever though ;) xx

  • who would have guessed she went from ariel in the little mermaid to this!

  • @pokemonumbreon1 anybody who knows she played Christine in Phantom before Ariel, I guess.

  • Sierra is up there with the top christines such as Gina and Sarah... SIERRA IS AMAZING .. end of story ;)

  • i cant see her without thinking about her like ariel :D

  • shit at 4 20 she sing so flippin high

  • A wonderful rendition, somewhat better than Katherine Jenkins who can't quite get a particular note right - however listen to the version by Korean singer - Sumi Jo - her ending is fantastic. This has got to be one of the best, if not, the best, love song ever written. Pity the rest of the show never survived.

  • @planeman1995 Its alive in Australia atm

  • Sierra is so beautiful and she has an amazing voice.

  • Not her bet performance but WOW

  • breath taking.

  • Sierra is simply the greatest Christine Daae ever. End of disscusion. <3

  • @WilliamsRanchVA

    I agreeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

  • Sorry, not enough death metal for me.

  • Wow. That is some amazing singing! She is so versatile. I saw her in Master Class and met her after. Her high C is so big, she doesn't need a mike!

  • A beautiful lyric inspired by Corinthians..."Love never fails..endures" etcc. However in my view "slips in" to your thoughts is not a good lyric ..other things "slip in", let's not have love "slipping in" in any way shape of form, it conjures up a slimy image, also "much Bigger than it's own" ..is mediocre. Elephants are much 'Bigger',but love is grander, greater , awe inspiring, not 'Bigger' (not even larger)

  • The last part melts my heart, just love her voice! :)

  • simply gorgeoues, everything about her.

  • Sierra looks alot like my cousin...so cool^^!

  • She has the whole package: the looks, the poise, the personality, and most importantly, the voice. I'd give anything just to have an ounce of what she's been blessed with.

  • Never stop singing. Never ever ever ever stop.

  • I can't believe I've never heard of this girl before! Absolutely incredible voice & emotion! She OWNS Emmy Rossum.

  • The only reason four people disliked is out of jealousy. I mean, who can blame them? Sierra's amazing!

  • Someone verify the title.

  • 4 people's love died.

  • i first heard her sing ... she changed me forever... i wanted to be just like her! Gorgeous, talented, kind. i wanted to inspire people the way she did for me... She will be my Idol forever...

  • people say that nobody is perfect, well, i guess that was a lie...

  • was she ariel?

  • @PinkCowgirl925 Yes. She's the Original Ariel on Broadway, and the Original Christine for Love Never Dies :)

  • I absolutely adore Sierra's voice, but it also would have been nice if they brought Niamh up here, now wouldn't it? Anyway, i think LND is an awesuuum musical !

  • I get goosebumps all over when I listen to this song. Stunning, and Sierra is fabulous.

  • I would sell my soul to sing like that..Well..almost...

  • @bbmonkey14 Heck I'd sell my soul to be half that talented and half as beautiful!

  • @Kingiwingi8713 me too:)

  • Over the Rainbow?

    This is Love Never Dies.

  • @hannah4colbert Its a show called Over the Rainbow xx

  • WHY ISN'T THERE A "LOVE" BUTTON????

  • Oh my God! She is awesome:bd

  • LOVE SIERRA VERY MUCH !!!!!!!! AND LOVE NEVER DIES, RAMIN ,SUMMER, JOSEPH AND ALL THE OTHER ORIGINAL CAST MEMBERS ON LND !

  • @n2i2c2k2y ME TOO!!!!

  • I don't understand, she sings "Love never dies", not "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"?!

  • @Adler36 she was singing on a show called over the rainbow

  • she may be christine daae in phantom, but to me she will always be ariel from the little mermaid :)

  • I don't even really like the Phantom sequel, but this woman is AWESOME.

  • Sierra is the best! Period! I know her and she's the best girl EVER!!!!!! Love her.

  • I LOOOVE Sierra!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • SHE IS AMAZING! <3

  • this song is soooo beautifull, sad, dramatic and just a joy to listen to. Sierra gives me chills. I saw her as the Little Mermaid on Broadway and she is a great performer bless her. This song is one of my favourite all time songs. Its so touching and dramatic.

  • wow .. i love it

  • She is so good. I would love it if when it comes to Broadway, that she would reprise her role as Christine. Same goes for Ramin!

  • The comments on here shock me. Really?! I'd take her over Emmy Rossum or Sarah Brightman any day.

  • @zelda1fiction1child i agree but i have to admit if there was a love never dies movie i rekon it would be better if they used the same people out of the movie phantom of the opera it would probobly be better if they did that but no dening it sierra is the flippin best

  • :')

  • Let's clear something up shall we. Even though Christine was written as an Opera singer. Andrew Lloyd Webber wrote POTO & LND as Musical Theatre peices. Opera sopranos & Musical Theatre sopranos are actually very different. Yes it's no secret there a are many Opera singers who blow Sierra away. But that's because their training & roles require heavier demands. Opera singers don't use microphones. Andrew has stated several times Sierra's voice is just what he envsioned for Christine.

  • @InACountryGarden So...here's the thing: her name's Sierra. And ALW chose her. So...

  • I can't believe some of these crass comments here! She's lovely and her voice is too. I'll take her as Christine over Emmy Rossum ANY day.

  • Has anyone heard Kristin Chernoweth try this? Now she might not have the long grace of a taller girl, but WHAT a voice: strong yet light, hits the high notes but with great 'body' even then. Maybe someone can start a petition . . .

  • I would say "she makes it seem ridiculously easy", but then it came to my mind that this probably IS easy to her, haha :D

  • Not sure about the botox but she could do with a boob job

  • She has not had botox. Or anyother plastic surgery for that matter. Watch her other videos here on Youtube. You'll see her forehead constantly moving. Look at the small crease in her head at 1:35. The reason it's not so vivid is the make-up they put on her. In fact I suggest watching the video where she met the Dorthy girls. You'll see how much expression she has.

  • @Silver54ful Idk, she looks pretty immobile here. I saw her in Phantom in Vegas about 4 years ago, and I remeber her having LOT more expression. Here, it just seems like here forehead is one big piece. Nothing against her, but she just looks different

  • @blitschk Like I said, watch her on some of the other videos here on Youtube. You'll see her forehead has not changed. It's the make-up! They probably wanted it to seem like her forehead was stiff. Which is rather absurd because as an actress, she needs to convey many facial expressions. As for that comment about her needing breast augumentation. Well I think that person needs to go to therapy to address their self-esteem issues.

  • I wonder if she had botox? Her forehead seems unusually expressionless

  • i've been seen to see the show 4 times and Sierra's voice is amazing. Along with Ramin who plays the Phantom they are both incredible talented young people. this is fantastic, the same level as DONT CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA. Standing ovation for sierra :)

  • it makes me cry :)

  • utterly amazing !!!

  • anybody know where i can find an mp3 of sierra singing this song?

  • @jganzb00 amazon MP3 do them I think!

Type 'Love never dies' and click the MP3 option.

  • She has gogeous eyebrows.

Sory for such a silly comment, but words will never be able to describe what I feel listening to her so I don't even try. She is an angel of music.

  • She wants me bad!.....I'll think about it!

  • Sierra Boggess...you soothe my soul.... :)

  • When I first bought the LND soundtrack, I thought it was OK but nothing really special. Then this song came on shuffle the other day and I've finally fallen head over heels in love with it <3

Sierra Boggess' voice is stunning, she's amazingly talented. And this song is so beautiful =]

  • Poor Sierra! she must be gettin so sick and tired of sing ing this song! and thos of you who are gonna try to stand up for her and tell me to shut up...i love her im not trying toi be mean i just think what i think and i dont need your feedback of mine

  • Gorgeous! Saw Sierra in LND this summer- she is gorgeous and her voice gives me chills- just listening to this now brings tears to my eyes. Yay Sierra!

  • @floridatechoxford i'm glad someone else feels this way, everyone seems to think i'm wierd because I sobbed at this song. The best performance of a song i've ever seen

  • @floridatechoxford This song even has me in tears whilst listening to the album in the car. I'd hate to think what I'd be like seeing her in the show! Awesome actress, brilliant performance, beautful song!

  • @Kingiwingi8713 i've seen her twice in love never dies and she is utterly incredible! words cannot express how fantastic her and ramin are in that show!

  • @jenpenphan I know. I went to see the sho!w, but on the day she wasn't in the role! I was gutted! Ramin was though, and he was incredible! I hope I can get down and see it before she finishes her stint.

  • @Kingiwingi8713 Who replaced her? And omg, I went all the way to NY to see TLM and she WASN'T THERE! Still, it was a fantastic musical, haha :D

  • @ethalinia Celia Graham, who I think is replacing her in March! She was good, and obviously ALW is beautiful enough to still have an effect, but I was still a bit gutted... I really wanted to see her in this role, but looks like I won't get the chance now! :-(

  • @Kingiwingi8713 Was this officially confirmed? If so, where did you read it? I've heard rumors that Tam Mutu might replace Ramin. But I haven't found anything concrete. The only thing I know that has been announced is both Sierra and Ramin are leaving on March 5th. Other then that, I haven't found anything in regards to this information.

  • @ethalinia Celia Graham is the new Christine. She was Sierra's understudy

  • msg to everydayislikesun......BLOW ME you ignorant pig. Sierra is the biz, hugely talented and hugely successful. Just take a moment out of your ignorant life to do a little research and you'll see this lady is platinum coated. Oh yes, she's American too - I suppose that's a problem for you too.

  • this is her best rendition so far...more operatic and confident. Also, they added more instrumental like when Kiri Te Kenawa sang it 12 years ago....amazing

  • Sierra is so amazing!

  • Her voice is amazing, i love this song and the show:D

  • Also, the Dorothys mostly sang popular songs and the role of Dorothy doesn't really need the same vocal range as she has or needs for Love Never Dies... I mean, in The Wizard of Oz Dorothy's just a farm-girl who has the kind of voice you'd expect her to have whereas Christine Daae is an opera star, she's a soprano and this is an aria, not really comparable to Over The Rainbow.

It might have been interesting to see one of the hopefuls sing this.

  • Wow this is a beautiful song sung by a lovely and beautiful women! ;-)

  • I love this woman! She is incredible, talented, and has a voice as beautful as her face... I just hope she is in the lead role when I see the show in October!

There are no words to describe how much I adore the song...

  • I saw Love Never Dies just today at the matinee and Sierra was brilliant! Her rendition of this song was gorgeous and an overall brilliant performance.

My grandma was sitting next to me and said that it was worth sitting through the play just to get to this song (she said she liked the show but not as much as the original).

  • how is this woman single? i really don't get it. i'm serious.

  • @heyheymister She doesn't have time for a relationship. She's admitted in interviews that she's in a stage in her life where she wants to concentrate on her job. But she'll find somebody when she's ready. She's young & has more then enough time to spare. I think there's an enormous misconception that when you're beautiful, you'll automatically find love. Not true at all! Being beautiful maybe useful in getting something else but that doesn't mean the road to love is easy.

  • @Silver54ful wow. you are deep. i think you have emotionally changed me!

  • she looks like dots mum

  • Wow, she is so talented, I love this song and I love her singing it

  • she sings so well

  • WOW!!!

  • Her Breathing is quite annoying, but her singing certainly is'nt ! AMAZING x

  • @teganmae10 lol I like her breathing

  • She is amazing, although her breathing annoys me? :S

  • @stefro23 haha, i said that and someone inboxed me saying @ um. infact i like her breathing, haha xx

  • Sorry, but Emmy Rossum couldn't sing this song - unless she takes the final verse down several keys, like Katherine Jenkin's version. Katherine (who I love), like Emmy, is a Mezzo. The role of Christine is definitely a high soprano, and Sierra's performance of this is, in my opinion, simply gorgeous (and thus far without compare).

  • Sierra Boggess has a beautiful voice, and though she is extremely talented, she would be such a better singer if she did not take an easily heard breath after every single line

  • amazing

  • She has a truly beautiful voice, anyone who says anything different knows nothing about music!

  • She just doesn't perform this song very well. I prefer Emmy Rossum. She's better at the other songs in the musical but this being her big number just makes me think they didn't pick the right person. I wish Emmy Rossum would do Broadway again....

  • @countrymusik99 Emmy Rossum was never on Broadway! Even if she was, this song is beyond her range. She's a mezzo-soprano. She's a great actress & very beautiful. But this is out of her league. I also disagree since I think Sierra made a wonderful actress for Christine ten years later. She has a real passion for the character and brings out her vulnerability. Plus her vocal abilty exeeds whatever Emmy can perform. She can't hit a B-flat without being strained. Sierra has a purity.

  • @Silver54ful I know Emmy Rossum was never on Broadway. But I believe her performance in the film version was phenomenal and many mezzo sopranos are able to reach this level. You've obviously only ever heard Emmy perform those songs because she has performed this level song before and she does it well. I appreciate how into the character Sierra Boggess' interest in the character but her voice has too much vibrato for this song. Everyone has an opinion but how would you know whose is right/wrong?

  • @countrymusik99 I never claimed I was right and you were wrong. In fact if you read my post correctly you'd see that I said I 'disagreed" with your opinion. This may also surpise you as I'm actually a very big fan of Emmy. I thought she did a wonderful job for the film! I do think she has a beautiful voice. But her range isn't wide or strong enough fro this role on the stage. Sierra is a full-fledged soprano who's trained for years for these types of roles. Andrew himself adores her voice.

  • @Silver54ful I totally understand and of course he has to love her voice in order to have her play the part. He loved Emmy's too. They are both great. And I even said it's only this song I don't like Sierra's voice in. In the other music in this sequel she sings them wonderfully. It's only this song, it's not that I don't think she's talented.

  • @countrymusik99 It takes years of practice to become a soprano and Sierra has it

  • God Damn and not even out of Breath,,,WOW She is amazing,,,She was good as Ariël in TLM But she is even better with Christine in LND,,,,,

  • I am desperate to see Love Never Dies. Catherine Jenkins cannot sing this song with the passion and enthusiasm as Sierra.

  • Comment removed

  • She is magnification ....

  • Amazing she is heavenly in all aspects!

  • She is amazing tbf but I prefer Katherine Jenkins' rendition much more power behind her voice :):) as well as emotion.

But I believe Sierra would suit the role of Christine more :):)

  • I cannot believe she is an actual human being....she is almost flawless (she could work on her british accent, haha, but her singing is perfect!)

  • @ethalinia Andrew Lloyd Webber asked her to do a Mid-Atlantic accent for her character. (Which I think she does wonderfully)

  • Well she should be ,she is a top professional ,the dorothy girls are what they are ,girls ! They are at the start of their career. Sierra is fantastic ,she is the star for the dorothy girls to aspire to.

  • Sierra has an amazing voice! I really want to see her as Christine now

  • sierra is a fantastic singer brill she is a fab christine

  • Love Sierra, but she has way too much make-up on. Too bad, she doesn't need it. Can't wait to see her as Christine!

  • @DeceiverOfFools87 i think they need alot of make-up on cos of the studio lights, etc.

  • @DeceiverOfFools87 I agree, but that sint her fault,

its whoever is doing her makeup, she still looks beautiful thuagh!

  • She has a gourgus voice :)

  • I think alw shouldn't abuse his power on the show to advertise one of his shows

the song goes on forever lol

    Sierra has amazing voice though

  • This song is so repeatative just like the song he wrote for the eurovision song contest its my time..

Apart from that Sierra is fantastic.

  • Love her and Love Never Dies...totally my role model

  • Most. Boring. Song. Ever.

Heard the plot from a friend. Like, what? The plot doesn't make any sense, and the Phantom of the Opera was such a beautiful musical with magnificent music. And now he goes and butchers it with standard music and a shitty plot. Sierra was great though.

  • @cryenne Sometimes the most beautiful and most sentimental things are composed of the simplest melodies. I don't find it boring at all; I think it's gorgeous. The plot though, I'll agree with you, needs a massive re-write. Everything seemed to come out of nowhere - especially with poor Meg.

  • @loreoflocksly Yes you're right, some of the simplest melodies are beautiful. Somewhere over the rainbow tears me up every single time I hear it. But in this song, I just heard one line over and over again: Love never dies. Lower one note, raise two. Same sentence over again, and that is what bothers me; it feels too "made", too predictable. But as I said before Sierra sings beautifully so it's not that it isn't musical or anything, I like her voice a lot. And the plot still...needs work. Yup.

  • @cryenne So, instead of listening to your "friend", perhaps you should go see the musical before you pass judgement? Oh and by the way - searching on YouTube for "standard music" which belongs to a "shitty plot" makes you look stupid.

  • @Lishahhh Hi. You know, maybe I shouldn't. Maybe I shouldn't trust my friend. But as it is, I live in Holland and will probably never get to see this musical and yes, if I only see this song and heard about the plot, I might consider it shitty due to being influenced by a friend AND having my own opinion. My bad

  • @cryenne Yes, their rendition of that song was beautiful. You have a right to express your opinion of course, I just thought your opinion was based more on what your friend told you, rather than on your own view, that's all. & if Love Never Dies continues to prove successful, other places might start productions. Isn't Phantom of the Opera in Holland?

  • @Lishahhh Though, I was actually re-watching the sing-off between Lauren and Steph because I thought their rendition of "another suitcase in another hall" was magnificent and this song was next in the list so yeah, I'm sorry I clicked on it. Sorry for expressing my opinion, and sorry for not sharing the same opinion.

  • aWSOME! Headtone throughout the song!

  • maravilloso una voz muy hermosaaaa

  • Oh my wonderful Sierra!!!

    It's her birthday tomorrow!!

  • bah! shes no jenny

  • I think she's brilliant! She puts her heart and soul into her performance. What a voice!

  • she's perfect! <3

  • I think it was written amazingly, but i really dislike her performance of it.

  • @ManBig4 Not sure if you have seen the live show yet. This song is to be performed communicating with the other two leading roles as well. The emotion she brought to the show was amazing. So I guess it is a bit difficult to perform out of the context

  • I really love this song ... my heart sings again!

  • Her voice is just...
