Sometimes simplicity is a hallmark of an evolving being. This is nature. Music is only rhythm, melody, harmony and Lyrics. Rock is usually simple musically however usually the lyrics are poor. Bruce is a man with a message mainly now. He can change keys like he changes clothes because he has mastered musical structure and his tools. Feel the message dude...

Ever since some ass on Ultimate Guitar took down all of the Boss' music, it's been really hard to find reliable videos of people playing his music where the chords are easy to read and the cover is good. In your case, my friend, both are very true. Great cover. I can hear the original but also your own input. Excellent job.

@estreet530 yeah it's so complex. Guitar chords, and then keyboards and strings doing the exact same melody. What lazy, generic, and boring songwriting. Springsteen could have never had a career with this type of below average music, and this is only heard for the simple reason that he is who he is. No musical value. Most of the last ten years are like he followed a beginners songwriting formula book. And the musicianship is weak as can be. There's nothing there anymore.

I guess you could've taught a few guys like Leadbelly, Big Bill Broonzy, or Robert Johnson something than more just that generic pentatonic-based 12 bar stuff, huh?
