uhhh your comparing a rc truck to a boat?? Rc trucks and cars have land to go on. These boats have to overcome the resistance of the watter. And besides, some of these boats can reach over 100mph!

When the boat is going 100+ then it is literally flying... not too much resistence there... valid point though... too bad cars can't solve the resistance problem that easily, either you hit a wall or start flying! :P

good vid...really worth watching...about 1/2 the boats im seeing are H&M...a lot of those are drifters too....wish i lived where they do (Germany?)..hulls like that are very common there...here in America, its a rare sight to see an H&M...i got a Drifter L hull, but havent had the cash to work on it right now

I just got into RC nitro boats and this is a really good vieo! I would also like to second www.rcuniverse.com. They helped me in picking my boat, The Shockwave 36. Great boat does 35 mph and cast 350.

well that depends on a lot of things. beginner boats range from $20-$200(speeds from 10-20mph).

Actually a good estimate is to add a zero to the speed you desire. for example if you want a 30mph boat your gonna spend approx $300bucks. 40mph $400ish. etc etc. and these boats go excess of 120mph!!!

heres the mathmatical formula:

speed=$money$

Wow man those are very fast and nice boats! I want to get into RC something but not sure what... There's a lake nearby but too many REAL boats and too many trees for planes, If I get a car I need it to be offroad, what do you think the best option is?
