I was just wondering whether he is not going to write a book about his long and adventurous life at sea. His speeches are excellent and applauded and he also has "une plume", as the French say. This would be an enriching and exciting book as well.

Surprising, i was expecting to hear a pompous oaf. Far from it, he seems a pretty well balanced sort of guy, with a sense of humour, and a cracking job!
I wish people would stop mentioning they have been on this ship, blahhhh blahhh blahhhh, !! Lucky or not, it still sounds like boasting.

How lovely to hear his voice again, I have been incredibly lucky to travel transatlantic and through the Caribbean on this fantastic ship, wish I could have seen her in Liverpool, can't wait to travel on Queen Mary 2 again

when he was in Canada with the Queen Mary 2 he was very very polite to his passengers when the ship was ready to disembark,a very nice and charismatic man!
