This is seizures. There are many different kinds for dogs; this looks like complex partial seizures. Please, look it up and try the medication and it should take care of these (light dose of phenobarbitol). And no, I am not a vet. But DO look it up, and talk to your vet about it please!

@SneakyxLlama I believe there is medication that can help though. I think they generally prescribe stimulants to humans with this disorder. My dog has a seizure disorder and I get his prescription filled at my (human) pharmacy with the same drug that a lot of epileptic people take.

actually there is research being done and whats funny is that the way they even began to figure the problem out or to understand narcolepcy was with a Doctor who had a narcoleptic dog and able to have the dog basically beside him all day he was able to study deeper. i just hope they find the cure for animals and humans
