Poor orchestral arrangement. That freaking tambourine is just ruining everything. I mean, what would be the reasons for this non-stop annoying tambourine????
That was not a lame encore! Some of the best encores are "cute" pieces like this and slow melodic pieces. You have to take it in context- here he already had 1 or 2 virtuosic works in his performance- you wouldn't follow those by another in encore. He already stunned the audience, so he ends the performance with a "smile". Well done Denis!
In this piece, you actually sound a lot like Galway (I mean it as a compliment). Yet, your performance is more convincing having greater musical expression and clearer contrasts in dynamics. Way to go Bouriakov! You have been a favortie since day one.
I wont say it was hard but i wont say it was easy!
Bouriakov(Denis) makes any song hears better then its main way to be played then it was very good!

What a delightful performance! Beautiful, even playing, fluid and effortless. Calling it "lame" is just immature.

where´s the fire in that?! More power is needed, my good man! Il nous faut de l'audace, encore de l'audace, toujours de l'audace!

Very lame encore, indeed. A junior high school flute player could play that

It´s an extract from Bergakungen (The Mountain King), Op. 37: Vallflickans dans (Handmaiden's Dance, Hugo Alfven.
