I've been looking for them all over Europe and can't find them. Sure there are 501's everywhere but not with anti-fit. Am I doing something wrong? I mean Levi's 501 and Levi's 501 with anti-fit are 2 different models right? please anyone?
Yes The RSC has stolen Shakespeare for its own ends. All patrons are encouraged to donate to other more diverse organisations rather than looking at the RSC as the last vestige for the promotion of Shakespearean art. The RSC is inward looking self promoting and exercises exclusion at the highest level and offers no resolution or dialogue which encourages original creativity and understanding to those who once believed that the RSC was the almighty propeller for Mr William Shakespeare,
Love this ad, but the only thing that bugs me is that "enthralled" should be 3 syllables in order match the meter - "en-thrall-èd". I'm such a geek :P
@Gaellilouna That's what I mean. Words have syllables both added and removed to fit the meter. In the case of "flowery", one syllable has been removed. For "enthralled", one is added, but it isn't spoken that way in the ad.
BOTTOM I see their knavery: this is to make an ass of me; to fright me, if they could. But I will not stir from this place, do what they can: I will walk up and down here, and I will sing, that they shall hear I am not afraid.
TITANIA [Awaking] What angel wakes me from my flowery bed?
It's a part of a classical music piece by Mendelssohn called "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (which is based on the play as well). It's from the overture I think.
Shakespeare would have loved this. It is through the intervention of the centuries that he has collected his musk of sacredness, but he was of and for the paying masses in his day.
this commercial is so weird because this part in the play, Pyramus, the guy, was a donkey and the fairy queen, the girl, was under a spell that made her fall in love with the person she first saw. And so this commercial makes it seem so serious.
yer but that is why its so clever. they take shakespeare and make it serious, they change the context to modern day and therefore the meaning behind it. good stuff i think!

@SkydiveSabotage But in elizabethan english people used to do this. In the original text it is written "flow'ry bed" for example....

@SkydiveSabotage Ah then I don't know enought, I am french so I don't know every word I hear and thought "enthralled" was the actual word.

Titania:
I pray thee, gentle mortal, sing again:
Mine ear is much enamored of thy note;
So is mine eye enthralled to thy shape;
I love thee.
