Arabians have short backs. A short back horse can carry more weight than the same size long back horse. My mare is barely 14 hands. However, Im only 5ft4. Still, I would think someone 5ft8 like the other post could ride her.

It is my goal to one day own a magnificent horse such as these beautiful ones. However, I am quite tall (5'8") & have been advised a diff breed such as andalusian, friesian etc. How big do these horses reach please? 15hh is too small for me. I would love to know if arab's come up to 16hh or a little lower. These are gorgeous btw :)

Some arabians do reach 16 hands but it is more common for them to be in the 14.2 - 15.2 range. However, many people your height (and taller) including myself ride arabians. 15 hands is not too small for you. I actually prefer horses in the 15 hand range.

hey, will u have a black arabian for sale ? im willing to wait another year, to find the perfect black arabian. how much is it for a horse like that? the ones ive looked for cost about 100 000, and yeah, thats in dollars. but if the horse is worth it. there is no question in my mind. ive been in love with arabians from i was a little girl:)
