Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. That's why it's best to simulate the actual performance as best you can to see what it's going to be like with no surprises. They only practice in full uniform on gameday anyway.
I'm trying to figure out how he does it. It looks physically impossible. From what I see, It looks like he has the baton bounce off the ground and spin back into his hand? I could be wrong.
What? see their "OSU does Hollywood", "Heros and Legends", OSU vs Texas Brass show" and "StarWars" shows to name a few. I think they have great sound and provide some nice visuals as well. They are more than just Hang on Sloopy, script Ohio and their Fight Song.
you only wish they got the name from the football team. The band was called that long before the football team was winning more than 2 games a season.
You know I'm actually from michigan I hate the OSU Football team and stuff but I LOVE THEIR MARCHING BAND! I've Seen Michigans (U of M) Live at their caompus thingy in ann arbor :P

Because that was gameday morning. Spats are on the belt, not on their feet so they stay white till gametime.

He may bounce it off the ground, either way it is incredible!

yeah he just spins it out to the side, the end without the ball hits then recoils back to him.
