My maternal great-grandmother,Mary Rita Carimella-DeMartini has Alzheimer's Disease as well as my cousin,Annie who just died. My great-granny is still alive.

My grandma has Alzheimer since October of 2007. I am her youngest grandchild & I am 17 yrs old. I have Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy.

Also, a nasal flu vaccine consisting of 2 FDA-approved drugs cleared up plaque in mice. It seemed to help their cognitive function, but they still aren't sure whether it will cure Alzheimer's patients. No side affects. This was 2005. I don't know current status. Google it.

Try giving him lots of tumeric that will clear out the plaque in his brain. Also, malic acid will rid the brain of aluminum, and other heavy metals that cause Alzheimer's. Gutithione also clears the brain of toxins. All can be purchased at any heath food store. Our body makes gutithione, but when you get older, you lose a lot of it. Also N-acetyl L-cysteine is a catalyst for glutithione.
